Jiang Ruolan entered the building door and went to the reception desk. She asked the receptionist staff whether Xian Zihao was busy right now, but no one answered her question. She suspected that the staff was trying to ignore her.

If Jiang Ruolan called Xian Zihao at this time, it was not good. She was afraid that her call would disturb him, so she just texted him and told him that she was here to give him lunch.

Not even three minutes after the message was sent, the staff in the lobby opened the door and entered, politely saying that Xian Zihao was having a meeting with Vice-President Wei, then leading her into the elevator. ”President Xian is on the 66th floor.”

Jiang Ruolan thanked the staff and went straight to the meeting room.

She stopped and asked softly at the door, ”Are they have an important meeting? It won't be good if I came in like this.”

The staff politely smiled and said, ”Miss Jiang, President Xian just told Vice-President Wei's secretary to send a message saying that you are his wife. If you have something to say, you can come and find him directly.”

No wonder they were polite to her. That's because Xian Zihao has asked someone to clarify her identity. She wondered why the several staff members in the lobby had turned from cold to attentive.

She slowly pushed open the door of the small conference room with a sigh.

Despite being called a small conference room, this conference room was comparable to the large conference room of large companies in the country.

Xian Zihao wore a light gray shirt and blue jeans. Despite wearing casual clothes, his appearance was still very eye-catching. A dozen people were present in the meeting room.

As he spoke, he wrapped his arm around Jiang Ruolan's shoulder and introduced her to his subordinates sitting in the meeting room. ”This is Jiang Ruolan, my wife.”

”I heard that you were married more than half a year ago. At the time, Guiying said that she planned to return home to visit her new sister-in-law. I did not think that was true.” Sitting across from the conference table, a handsome man in his early thirties immediately laughed, ”No wonder you are shining with happiness now. From the look of your wife's belly, she must be about to give birth soon, right?”

Jiang Ruolan's mouth twitched. Her stomach was getting bigger and bigger, much bigger than the stomachs of other women who were four to five months old. She even suspected that she was carrying twins.

”Almost five months.” She explained with a smile.

”Are they twins? President Xian, congratulations! Don't forget to send a red packet to Xian Enterprise's staff when the time comes!” The man continued to tease.

Xian Zihao smiled and patted Jiang Ruolan's shoulder, ”This is Vice-President Wei, who will temporarily manage the company on Guiying's behalf until she returns.”

Jiang Ruolan nodded and greeted Vice-President Wei with a smile. Then, she smiled at the others who smiled at her. After that, Xian Zihao signaled for everyone to rest for a while before taking her to his office on the 30th floor.

”Why did you suddenly come looking for me?” Xian Zihao asked softly as they entered the elevator.

”I was too bored at the hotel, so I went out for a walk. Seeing that it was noon, I wanted to take a look at Xian Enterprise, but who would have thought that you were so busy until you had no time to call your wife.”

Xian Zihao laughed at Jiang Ruolan's grumbling tone. ”Your stomach is getting bigger, and if you move a lot, you will get tired quickly. That's why I let you relax at the hotel.”

When the elevator door opened, he continued to hold her hand and pulled her gently through the wide, bright corridor. All the staff looked at Jiang Ruolan with admiration and jealousy, especially the female staff members.
