Chapter 282 - Interviewing Xian Zihao II (1/2)

He was wearing a white casual suit, a sportswear style with a white towel around his neck. He seemed to have lost all of his usual serenity and calmness at the moment.

Perhaps he had just finished taking a shower because his hair was wet and he was wearing slippers with the Aerial Club symbol. Upon entering, he politely shook hands with Wan Shoushan, who was already standing to greet him.

”I almost forgot about the time after chatting with my friend just now.”

Xian Zihao turned around and nodded at Xie Mei and Jiang Ruolan. When his gaze fell on Jiang Ruolan, it stayed on her face for a moment. Jiang Ruolan politely smiled and nodded back at him. Xian Zihao faintly shifted his gaze away.

”Wow, so handsome. How can there be such a young boss? I've indeed heard that President Xian is very young, but I didn't expect it to be true. He doesn't even look to be 30, but his aura, my God!” Xie Mei whispered excitedly into Jian Ruolan's ear.

When a staff member next to her saw Xie Mei's infatuated look, he couldn't help but chuckle and say, ”The Xian Family is a military family of several generations. They have worked hard for hundreds of years to keep our country at peace and have received a state-level allowance and treatment.”

Xie Mei became even more excited. She looked at the staff member who seemed to be very proud of himself, for knowing about the Xian Family. She tugged on Jiang Ruolan's hand. ”Ruolan, why aren't you saying anything?”

Jiang Ruolan just smiled. ”You've heard all from the staff. What can I say anymore?”

Xian Zihao pulled a stool and sat down. He glanced at them, then looked at Wan Shoushan with a smile, ”Should we start the interview?”

Wan Shoushan took out two copies of the information and sat on a stool brought by the staff. ”These two girls are new to our Department of Commerce and are in the process of being groomed. I will interview you today. It's not going to interfere with what President Xian does, is it?”

”Not at all.” Xian Zihao smiled and took out a box of cigarettes. He stopped for a moment and looked in Jiang Ruolan's direction.

Wan Shoushan thought that he was just looking at the ladies and asking them with his eyes if he could smoke, so he smiled and said, ”You can smoke, they won't mind.”

Xie Mei nodded her head eagerly, ”Yes, President Xian. Go ahead and smoke. Don't mind us.”

Although Jiang Ruolan didn't say anything, Xian Zihao's gaze only briefly swept over her lower abdomen before he put down the cigarette box. ”It's rare to get an interview from you. I should mind their presence too.”

”President Xian is really humorous.” Wan Shoushan suddenly smiled. ”Since everyone is in such a good state, then let's start. We don't want to waste too much of your time here.”

”It's fine.” Xian Zihao rubbed his temples and said, ”Very rarely do I get out to exercise. I spent all night in the pool and did not sleep much. Now, my head hurts.”

”Then let's proceed with the interview.” How could Wan Shoushan not notice? Although Xian Zihao agreed to the interview, he was also reminding him that he would not answer any complicated or sensitive questions. What was rare was that Xian Zihao seemed to be in a good mood. He always looked very serious while working, but he was very chatty when interviewed by Wan Shoushan.

After an hour of the interview, Wan Shoushan stood up and shook his hand, ”Thank you, President Xian, for giving us such an opportunity. I apologize for interrupting your break.”

Xian Zihao looked at the sky outside and said, ”The weather today is not bad. You guys always spend time in the office every day, and can rarely go out to relax. Since you guys are here, why don't we play a few rounds together?”

With that, he walked out.

”What are you still standing there for?” Wan Shoushan was in a good mood. He took off his jacket, looked at Xie Mei, who had an excited expression on her face, and Jiang Ruolan, who stood still. ”Could it be that you want President Xian to wait for you?”
