Jiang Ruolan didn't know what to say when Xian Zihao mentioned Jiang Bingqing. After all, she was still his cousin, Zhan An's niece, Jiang Guanyu's daughter, and her half-sister.

”Why was Qin Gengxin with you yesterday?” she asked suddenly.

”He was in the hospital when I learned you'd been kidnapped.”

”No wonder, but how did you find out so quickly that I was kidnapped?” Jiang Ruolan looked at him with puzzlement.

”Do you have a hundred thousand questions in your head?” Xian Zihao didn't answer her question. Instead, he continued giving her the fish meat she liked. ”Eat.”

Jiang Ruolan pouted and she looked like a kid who had been reprimanded by an adult during dinner. Embarrassed, she lowered her head to eat the food in her bowl.

As soon as she put a piece of fish into her mouth, she felt her stomach churn due to the strong fishy smell. Jiang Ruolan did not know since when her senses were very sensitive, and even though this fish meat didn't have much of a fishy smell, she still felt like vomiting.

Jiang Ruolan immediately raised her hand to cover her mouth, and under Xian Zihao's surprised gaze, she rushed into the bathroom and threw up.

”What's wrong?” Xian Zihao walked over and patted her back. ”Why are you throwing up like this?”

Then, there was the sound of someone knocking on the door. Xian Zihao paused for a moment, and with one hand holding a towel, he placed it beside Jiang Ruolan.

Jiang Ruolan continued to throw up as she shook her head at him, ”I'm fine. You go and open the door.”

Xian Zihao frowned. He left the bathroom and walked towards the door while casually picking up the phone at the tea table. He wanted to call a family doctor and at the same time, he went to the door and opened it.

”Dad?”

Jiang Ruolan retched for a while but still didn't spit anything out. She quickly put her hand under the water pipe and rinsed her mouth. Then she walked out.

”Dad.” Jiang Ruolan was slightly shocked when she saw Xian Jian. However, when she looked into Xian Jian's cold eyes, she felt a trace of disgust towards her.
