Not even two minutes later, a staff member knocked on the door and came in with a medicinal ointment. He then left without saying a word.

”You went to the Ling Group this morning?” Xian Zihao said flatly as he opened the lid of the top section of the ointment and lightly rubbed the slightly cold ointment on the red mark on her neck.

Seeing that she couldn't hide it any longer, Jiang Ruolan had no choice but to give a ”Hmm”.

Her eyes looked a little embarrassed.

Xian Zihao glanced at the apologetic look in her eyes and sighed slightly. He twisted the ointment's lid and casually placed it on the side. ”Didn't I tell you not to alert the enemy?”

Hearing his reprimanded tone, Jiang Ruolan let out a sigh of relief, ”I didn't mean to alert them. Ling Group warned our company and asked us to do public relations for them. Jiang Ruolan shook her head embarrassedly. Before Xian Zihao could scold her, she wrapped her arms around his neck and nestled into his arms. She leaned her head against his chest, closed her eyes, and said nothing.

”Do you like it?” Xian Zihao whispered in her ear.

Jiang Ruolan looked at him in surprise. Could it be that he could easily see that she liked to hug him? However, she still answered honestly, ”I like it.”

Xian Zihao tightened his hug again and gently said, ”If you like it, hug me a little longer.”

It was already afternoon and it was rare for Jiang Ruolan to not care about her work. Because of such a warm embrace, she decided not to go to the office and instead stay here to hug him.
