Chapter 191 - Hubby, Its Time To Eat (2/2)

Xian Zihao's lips curved with a strange smile. He did not go but slowly took the beef piece that Jiang Ruolan had put into his bowl and calmly put it in his mouth.

Jiang Ruolan looked at him with twinkling eyes.

After that, Xian Zihao calmly grabbed a napkin at the end of the table and spat out the shockingly salty piece of beef without even chewing. He then discarded the napkin casually. His actions were refined, and there was not a trace of anger on his handsome face.

So calm?!

Jiang Ruolan frowned inwardly.

She had spilled half a box of salt in each meal. Logically speaking, Xian Zihao must be very thirsty now.

”Why aren't you eating?” She played dumb.

Xian Zihao calmly replied, ”Nothing good will come out of it.”

He then got up and went to the kitchen to pour a glass of water for himself.

Jiang Ruolan's face darkened when she saw that Xian Zihao was holding a glass of water in his hand and did not feel bothered by her trick at all. She said vaguely, ”What do you mean by nothing good coming out of it? Why don't you eat?”

Xian Zihao glanced at her indifferently. Under the gentle light, his beautiful and handsome face had its own elegance. He only said two words, ”Very good.”

”What's good?” Jiang Ruolan straightened her back.

”Looks like I used the wrong method.” Xian Zihao looked at her for a long time.

Under her questioning gaze, he slammed the glass on the table. ”Upstairs.”

”What?” Jiang Ruolan froze and was in confusion.

He expressionlessly repeated. ”Go upstairs.”

Jiang Ruolan wanted to ignore his unusually serious expression, but seeing that he had already left the dining room and was walking upstairs, she put down her chopsticks in the end and stood up to follow him.

When she went upstairs, she saw Xian Zihao's tall and straight figure entering the study room. She thought about it and felt that it was a bit strange.

Xian Zihao gave her a feeling that she would never know the real face of Liu Ming¹. It was really hard to predict, so she followed him once again.

Upon entering the study, she noticed that Xian Zihao had already taken out thick books from the bookshelf. Jiang Ruolan was perplexed. Could it be that she had used the poison in the wrong way?

Xian Zihao took out a stack of Xian's Staff Manual and gave it to her.

”What's this for?”

He smiled. ”What do you think?”
