”I heard about you from my father two days ago. He said that you will still go to Beijing by the end of this year.”

As Jiang Ruolan walked towards them, she heard the woman's voice. She couldn't help but look at the expensive and dignified woman's dress with curiosity. She thought to herself that those who appeared here were not ordinary people.

As expected, just as she was thinking about it, Assistant Bai walked to her and whispered, ”This is the daughter of the head of the disciplinary committee, Shi Zheng. She works in the Audit Bureau.”

Jiang Ruolan's heart was shocked by Shi Zheng undisguised action and tone, but she kept her emotions in check as she looked at Xian Zihao silently.

Xian Zihao didn't have much of an expression on his face. His eyes didn't show any signs of being pleased either. He just leisurely placed his hands on his lap and said with a smile, ”There will be a gathering of dignitaries tonight. Of course I won't be absent.”

His meaning was very clear. After today's meeting, there would be a large charity dinner hosted by the province tonight. He would not miss it, and he would not miss it for anyone.

It was precisely because of his calm yet tactful rejection that Jiang Ruolan could sense that Xian Zihao knew this woman was interested in him.

”Tomorrow night, then.” Shi Zheng smiled happily. ”Shall we go for dinner tomorrow night?”

Xian Zihao smiled, ”Tomorrow's schedule is already set. The time is rather short. I'm afraid that even if I have the time, I still won't have the honor to accompany Miss Shi for dinner.”

Shi Zheng looked at Xian Zihao with a congealed gaze. Jiang Ruolan looked at Xian Zihao and saw that his face was emotionless. She didn't know if he was planning to meet Shi Zheng or not.

The time for rest was over, Jiang Ruolan quickly sat back down beside Xian Zihao. During the meeting that afternoon, even though she was writing a detailed report on the meeting, her heart still relied on one point.

For a man like Xian Zihao, there was no lack of suitors by his side. Cui Liuxian who grew up by his side was just a special case. After all, the people Xian Zihao came into contact with were all in the upper echelons of the board.
