Zhen Xiu was not dazzled by the attention of these people who were pointing at her curiously. She has seen many people gathered together all at once for many things in her past life so she was confidently striding towards the conference hall with her husband. She was his queen now in front of these people.

There was nothing she can't do. Besides, she was number one in shamelessness so all these things will not affect her in the slightest.

Lu Jian was worried that she will be feeling conscious because of all the stares and scrutinizing eyes; he was prepared to shield her but her response was totally different from a small town girl who was facing the crowd for the first time.

She was after all in a new space and needed proper adjustments to settle in the new crowd. He was not discriminating against her but was worried about her.

”You are good.”

Zhen Xiu nodded. ”Of course, I am perfect.” She blinked her eyes at him.

In the conference hall, all the department heads were looking at Shen Rui with contempt and were secretly snickering at her odd nature. She was suspended for one month but still has the face to come here the next day and attend this meeting.

She was too shameless!

Jiang Wui arrived and was about to begin the meeting but his eyes soon followed and landed on Shen Rui who was sitting there like a queen. He frowned.

She was suspended.

How come she is here?

He tilted his head towards her and put his files down on the table.

”Miss Shen you are suspended.” Jiang Wui pointed out the obvious.

Shen Rui suppressed the anger in her and calmly said, ”This is a meeting that involves the department heads and their next month's projects so how could I miss this Assistant Jiang.”

Jiang Wui wanted to insult her on the spot but knowing that he has to attend this meeting he politely informed Shen Rui.

”Miss Shen, last I check, no one is allowed to break company rules. Just because they are department

head it does not mean that they can do whatever they want.”
