Lu Jian wanted to keep quiet but Zhen Xiu quickly got his motive so she threatened again. ”I dare you to keep quiet. You will see how terrible I can be?”

Zhen Xiu was angry. This jerk was trying to act smart in front of her. Who was she? She was such a good person.

This cold- face beauty was troubling her now and then. She needs to cure him permanently.

”No.” He quietly denied the serious allegations.

”You think your words are gold. Speak up! Be a man!” Zhen Xiu provoked him.

Lu Jian was shocked to see her temper. This was his first time watching her like this. Before her accident she behaved like a proper lady, never showing something bad that will lose her chance to make him like her.

She was definitely changed after her awakening from the coma. Lu Jian decided that he will be careful from now on or else this angry bird might pop up again. For now, he needs to control the situation. ”I don't have any split personality disorder nor am I deaf Zhen Xiu. I was hurt when you said that you don't feel anything about me. I don't want to impose myself on you so I was taking my leave but you have a problem in this too.”

Zhen Xiu was confused. ”Eh! Can you speak in human language? Please!” she blinked her watery eyes at him.

”When did I say anything like that; you are misunderstanding everything right from the start.”

”Misunderstanding? How? I mean didn't you say...” Lu Jian raised his question.

But Zhen Xiu placed her forefinger against his lips and cut his words in between. ”Shh! I don't want any more problems. Let's return to our room first.”

She smiled after Lu Jian followed her wish.

”You are nuts!” Zhen Xiu smilingly told him. She was insulting Lu Jian but like a compliment.

”How did you pass your exam? You are abnormal in your head department do you know that?”

She pushed him down on the bed and sat next to him.

Lu Jian's ears turned red after hearing her words. He wanted to refute her statements but was not able to because of her hands playing with his hair.

He wanted to tell her that he was not abnormal and his brain is in good condition too. This was all because of his strange heart that he was behaving like a complete loon.

”I was not literally saying that I don't feel anything. It was the answer to your silly questions.” Zhen Xiu continued.

Lu Jian wanted to say that those questions were not silly but Zhen Xiu stopped him again.

”AH! No, be quiet. They are silly questions for me truthfully speaking. I really don't have anything against you. I understand before you didn't love me nor had any feelings for me as a matter of fact. I was the one who chose to be with you. So I had willingly faced all those things on my own. I don't blame you for those things.”

She continued, ”If it were me, any other person who loves his freedom would probably behave like this. Actually, the thing I don't like about you is that you never stood up for her. I mean for me the old me.”
