”Are you nervous darling?” Xiu asked him provocatively and leaned near his face.

Lu Jian was assessing her. This new bold and confident wife is really up to his liking.

Xiu noticed the flames of desire in his eyes and pulled him on the bed. Xiu was lying on top of Lu Jian and could feel all the lines on his body. Her face has a naughty smile which shocked Lu Jian. ”I should ask some question then if you are not able to start.”This was his first time seeing this woman so audacious and she says she is not the other girl. He can't believe that a person can change this much after waking up from coma.

He liked that naughty smirk on her face and wanted to see her different expression so he turned around and now Xiu was lying down and Lu Jian has the upper hand.

”You may ask now? It is more comfortable for me.” Lu jian smirked to see her flustered appearance. He knew there will be a change in her reactions if he will do something unexpected. Lu Jian wanted to see her different expression it was like a fetish to him now to see all these lively expression.

Xiu was flustered for once but then she controlled her emotions. ”The famous conglomerate enjoys being on top hmm. This is news for your fans.” Zhen Xiu teased him. ”I wonder how your mom will react if she saw this side of yours? I bet she would be disappointed that it's me rather than Shen Rui.”

Lu Jian tightened his hold on her slim waist and lean closer to her left ear and murmur in his soft voice. ”No she would love to play with some grandchildren”

Zhen Xiu's smile cracked for a bit but then she recovered her composure in a blink of eye and locked her hands around Lu Jian's neck. ”I would love to see you try. First we need to discuss your feelings. So don't even think about leaving this room until you give me all those answers.”

Lu Jian gave her a cool look but instead of being scared and avoiding his eyes she looked straight at him. Those dark black eyes were challenging him and at the same time provoking him to not heed her words. It caused a sensation in his heart, the fluttering feeling feels good unlike that night when she was crying after coming from the hospital.

The change in her is tremendous that she is dazzling like a star and challenging his limits but instead of being angry he feels rather good. Again a first, his cold bleak life finally has some colors.

”You are playing with fire. There is nothing going in between me and Shen Rui. So don't listen to that brat of a friend of yours.”

”Shen Ya is not a brat beside your mom is the reason that I feel that you have something with her. Beside why are we talking about her? We need to discuss your behavior Lu Jian.”

This time Xiu didn't flirt with him and asked in a serious tone. She wanted to make it clear from the start so that her approach would not hurt anyone.

She understand that why her other selfish soul attacked her and all her insecurities but she also know this point that her other half is not 100% right in her thinking. Her mind set must be different while approaching him and the various things she did so that Lu Jian may like her. Xiu respect her love for this cold man but will not behave like those stupid girls who have endless sympathy for people when they hear this kind of one sided love story.

Xiu believes that everyone needs a last chance in their life so she would not blame anyone here for the things that had happened till now. She has not even retailed against her parents back then because they had given her life so she allowed them to do anything for the life she owed them but if she would again get a chance to take revenge against them then she will definitely make their life hell.

Lu Jian sits straight and after an awkward silence he started explaining.

”There is no specific reason. This is how I am. You wanted to marry me so you can't blame me for not loving you. If you were in my condition how will you react? I was not the one who came to you. It was like business transaction for me. You made a deal with grandpa and he made a deal with me. So it was not so weird to understand. I never made things difficult for you and neither helped you because I knew that you love me. Do you really think that you would be alive now if I had not allowed it? You were good so I just left you alone.”

Xiu was speechless to hear this sweet and short reply. Note her sarcasm. He really is a cold hearted business man. All the pain and suffering the original suffered was really because she loved this kind of man. Well can't blame him too he was also not interested in the first place.
