32 TROUBLE (1/2)

Yenma didn't expect to meet 'her' again like this.

The woman that had approached him was without a doubt , 'Lady Evergreen' that he met on the martial grounds.

Su Yun had noticed Yenma from a distance while she was busy talking with her junior sisters.

Intrigued as to why the person was standing in a corner and being unsocial, she couldn't help but approach him. Just like the previous encounter, she could feel the man emanate some sort of mystical aura, but she couldn't put a finger around as to what exactly it was.

”Hello, would you like to have a drink?”, Su Yun approached amicably and offered Yenma a drink.

Yenma didn't know what this woman was up to, but he honestly replied, ”Sorry, I don't drink.”

”Oh.”, The woman looked stumped. Clearly she hadn't expected such a reply.

And before the conversation between the two even began, it had been filled with an awkward silence.

Situ Kong who was present along the sidelines also happened to witness this scene. There was a frown on his face when he saw the lady he admired try to strike up a conversation with a lowly plebian.

”Sister Yun, If this brother here is not interested in drinking then it is his misfortune. I, would love to accompany you to a drink. ”, Situ Kong spoke smoothly as he arrived between the two.

”There's no need. Actually I'm no longer in a mood to have a drink either. ”, Su Yun smiled politely and replied.

” This brother here, let me introduce you to some of my juniors so you have someone to talk to.”, Su Yun said as she grasped his hand and dragged him towards her group of friends

Yenma clearly noticed Situ Kong's smile had turned a bit stiff and the latter soon turn to glare at Yenma. Clearly Yenma had already placed himself in Situ Kong's blacklist.

”You-you woman, you set me up!”, Yenma finally realized he had been used as a shield by the woman.

”I think you are mistaken, Situ Kong is just over possessive. No matter whether I had accepted to drink with him or not, he would still ensure you wouldn't be let off too easily. ”, Su Yun whispered.

” You have brought me trouble. ”, Yenma sighed. He could clearly see from the corner of his eyes that Situ Kong was still glaring at him.
