”Tin Ming, I can give you two options as of now. Either you lose your life here or you serve under me.”, The Figure of the throne said gently as he looked at the human.
Tin Ming felt trepidation, he obviously didn't want to die but hearing the latter option, he was relieved. As long as he managed to survive, it was enough, ”Lord...I choose to serve under you..”

The Figure on the throne nodded as he had expected such a reply, ”Since you decided to serve under me, I would obviously not treat you unkindly.”
The Figure then flicked his hands and a white ray of light shot out and buried deep into Tin Ming's soul.
Tin Ming was sweating bullets as he thought the Figure had suddenly decided to kill him off.
”Don't worry, consider this as my precautionary measure. Your life is no longer yours to control the moment you decide to serve under me.”, The Figure on the throne said.
He then continued, ”Right now you are no different than a mortal human since you haven't even begun cultivating yet. Luckily for you, we have amassed lots of cultivation manuals from the peak stage human experts after slaughtering them ages ago.”
”You will also be given a place to stay and your own training grounds that would be beneficial for your cultivation.”
Hearing this, Tin Ming couldn't help but tear up with joy. He had always wanted to cultivate but he never had gotten the opportunity to do so but now he suddenly gained the cultivation manuals of peak stage human experts and his own training grounds. Tin Ming felt that perhaps...It wasn't so bad to serve under this new Lord of his, at this moment Tin Ming decided to wholeheartedly serve his Lord and cultivate with all his heart!

”L-Lord, how should I address you..?”, Tin Ming managed to speak out what his curiousity had asked out of him. The moment he spoke the words, Tin Ming felt some reaction from the Demon King Grivin who stood beside him.
