Luang nodded and took Yenma into his cottage, ”Take a seat. I will now begin explaining to you about cultivation.”

”Everywhere around us there is Spiritual Qi or Zu Qi. Those people who don't cultivate obviously cannot feel the Zu Qi around them. In the Chaotic Era which was around one million years ago, the demonic beasts dominated the world. These beasts had natural endowments and were able to cultivate on their own.”
”Us, humans were brutally suppressed during those times and were no different than slaves. This was until Yezo Yutang changed the fate of humans itself.”
”He was a god-gifted talent who gained the knowledge of cultivation by simply observing the beasts cultivating and he then used this knowledge to tailor his own method of cultivation which was suitable for the humans.”
”Although the cultivation method then was very crude, it still helped the humans to fend for themselves and ensure their survival. After the successive generations, the cultivation method was improved upon by many experts and even started to vary and in a million years since then not only has our race flourished, we have also suppressed the demonic beasts.”

”Now I shall explain to you about the primary stage of cultivation.”
”The first stage of cultivation: Unblocking Meridians Stage. The human body has twelve main meridians and countless other smaller meridians.Since birth many of our meridians are usually blocked and as such we are not able to hold the Zu Qi within our bodies.”
”When one can finally sense the Zu Qi in their surroundings they would have to gather it onto a meridian and try to slowly unblock it. While this sounds simple, this process takes time and often there are people who might not be able to unblock all their main meridians throughout their whole life.”
”A good cultivation manual is a must if one aspires to unblock all their meridians. Not being able to unblock all the meridians doesn't mean that one cannot advance to the next stage of cultivation: The Qi Formation Stage. In this stage one would start holding the Zu Qi in their unblocked meridians and would then be considered as a cultivator, albeit a weak one.”
”To ensure easier breakthrough to higher realms of cultivation, it is a must that one has unblocked all their main meridians before proceeding onto holding the Zu Qi into their body.”
”As for the higher stages above Qi Formation Stage… I will let you know of them later when you are ready.”
Luang then brought out an old tattered book from chest pocket and gave it to Yenma.
”This book consists about the comprehension behind sensing Zu Qi.”
”Remember: the comprehension within this book is only to be taken as a reference. Each individual has their own method of comprehending things and this is also applicable in cultivation. Your own true method of comprehension of Zu Qi will enable you to grow to your true potential.”
Luang then yawned, ”I will now go get some sleep. For now your task is to try to sense the Zu Qi around your surroundings. This is not an easy task, if you aren't talented enough it might take you months or even years before you successfully sense the Zu Qi around you.”
Luang's words echoed as he disappeared back into his little cottage, leaving behind an excited and amused Yenma who looked at the tattered book in his hands with such strong interest as if he was going to stare right through it.
Yenma then immediately opened the book.
