It was morning and Edward was getting ready for work when a call came in his phone.

”Hey Good morning son” the voice coming from the phone said

”Good morning mum and how are you doing?” he replied to his mum

”Until i call you before you know about my well-being right? Anyway am doing well. Thanks for asking”

”I'm sorry mum. I will make it up to you”

”It's okay am expecting you here o. I haven't seen you in a while and you didn't even bother to call”

”I will be coming to check on you this weekend. Fine?”

”Okay and don't forget what you promised me okay? Are you coming with your Girlfriend?”

”Mum trust me i wouldn't. and about the girlfriend, pray i get one before that time.” he replied his mum smiling.

”What do you mean before that time. As old as you are you don't have a girlfriend. You must be joking”

” Mum mum please am getting ready for work. Lets talk later please. Love you mum” he wanted to avoid his mum scolding him on phone cause he knows he might not make it to work early if she starts.

”You want to cut me off again right? No problem, you will meet me here. Love you too bye. Make more money so you can buy me my ferarri okay?”

”You must be kidding me. I can afford that but not for you bye mum”
