They entered inside the apothecary department to follow up the preparations for the selection process of the contestants. A formal list of contestants for pill making and innovations contest was already in. The entries from other department were also accepted for the said competition. They also gave a list of their participants for other contests.

Henry frowned upon seeing the note below the life and death battle. He still hasn't made up his mind if he will send Madel to represent the school.

Henry bowed his head and thanked the professor.

'What will you be doing after this Madel?” He asked.

[tsk, I need to deliver this flower, what else would I do. Does he plan on not letting me off?] Madel thought.

”I would attempt to make a pill, I will be practicing in pill foraging hall.” She said with her head bowed down. She had been attempting to make pills for 2 years but she was not successful in creating one. Even a grade one pill.

I promised you before that I will help you to create a pill. Didn't I?” Henry gave her an awkward smile, a sign that he was up to something horrible.

”I'm okay Henry, I know your busy, just continue with your work” Madel said in a flustered manner. [I will be fooled once but not twice. I almost lost my hands in practicing the sword. His patience is short while his expectation is broad. Not the kind of teacher that suits a slow learner like me.]

”I made this day free just for you. I will teach you”

Madel could deceive other people with her words but not herself. Her ears felt hot and her heart thumped rapidly. This gay is teasing her. She tried hard to suppress her feelings. She is her friend and he is a gay. What else would he mean by that?

”I'm a slow learner Henry, I will just make your head hurt.” She said.

”Don't worry, you will get it over time.” He said tenderly.

His kindness that day was scary. As he pointed the process of pill making, Madel kept on making numerous mistakes. This time Henry kept his calm and explained the process over and over again.

”Let's sit down first” He said.

[doomed, is he going to scold me now?]

”Okay”

He flicked his hand and a tea set appeared. She also flicked her hand and a set of fruit platter appeared.

A moment of silence passed.
