69 Their dilemma (2/2)
Not knowing where to start they simply sat down and continued to listen to Madel's interrogation. It took sometime before they collected their thoughts.
”By the way, did your cultivation just went higher?” Madel asked Cheska and Helen.
Cheska was confused, [I did, suppressed my cultivation earlier did I]
”Yes, Madel, you noticed. My cultivation advanced by two realms, imagine, I can't believe myself…..” Helen recounted how she felt like cultivating when they reached home after venturing in the dark forest. There was as strong surge of energy which circulated in her body. She told them that she simply allowed it to move freely in her body.
It was the same for the rest of the group except Madel.
”Maybe the dark forest..” Cheska choked on her words. 'The walls has ears'. She realized that, it was not safe to talk about it in the open.
”Yes, Cheska, the dark forest contributed to our breakthrough. But I… I guess, Madel had something to do with it.” Henry sent the message to them via telepathy.
”Yes, I think so too, but I am not sure.” Cheska agreed.
”She had been physically preparing all of us by feeding us with spiritual fruits for a long time.” Henry said.
A moment of silence loomed over the group. Henry and Cheska were talking via telepathy while Francis and Helen where in deep thought.
Madel looked at her friends and shook her head. [what a pity that I could not communicate with them via telepathy.]
After having lunch Madel set off to go to the apothecary department again. She delivered Tristan's freshly picked flowers for Evony daily. Tristan, was the only shadow that she did not loath. May it be a child or elderly as long as their blood is not pure, Madel can sense a feeling of indifference or even the desire to kill. She had been telling herself that she has nothing to do with this world and that she was only here for a certain mission. There is no need to put her hands to the things that she was not concerned of.
