17 Going home with him (1/2)
Helen was very nervous when her mother told her that she will go and look for Francis so that he can go home with them. Helen knew her heart very well. Even after dying she was still in love with him. A little rejection would not stop her heart from loving him.
”Tsk, how stupid” she mocked herself. After realizing that Francis might have rejected her because he did not recognize her or maybe he was not Francis after all, she decided to be rational and study the situation more.
Besides she still must problem the figure and looks of the body whom she transmigrated to. Its chubby, the complexion was dark, the eyebags were swelling, there are pimples and her armpit was dark, what a disaster.
[Why? why? I have read about transmigrated stories about the soul occupying an unparalleled beauty, or a body of a genius. Why am I stocked in this body?] she cried internally.
Expectations vs reality was really cruel.
[God send me back to my beautiful body, please]
Growing up the modern society as a daughter of influential man, she was living a life of a princess. She was a picture of perfection. Looking at her face now she can tell that it was even horrible than her death. Occupied with such thoughts, she did not notice her mother and her entourage coming her way. A maiden opened the door and her mother approached her.
”Hi dear! Francis will accompany you during the trip. Please talk to him child and try to win him over.” Her mother signal.
Her mother was a very vulgar woman, Helen thought.
Francis entered the carriage and said a simple hi.
Helen did not want to look his way. [Don't look at this ugly face, oh no]
Her mother then joined her father in a separate carriage. She was so shy. How did this so called wealthy miss became so ugly. She wanted to cry while thinking about it.
They were so silent during the trip. Helen, was silent and flustered. While Francis was thinking about what he wanted with his second life. Looking back, he missed a lot of opportunity to enjoy the world, having a relationship and appreciate the little things just because he was so focused on his studies and then work. He contemplated about his previous life.
He felt like a prisoner, a machine developed to work for the government. He did not want that to happen again. He wanted freedom, wanted to live truly and find his happiness. He could not help but to think about the love of his life. He decided that in this life, he would live, love and make the woman that he loves feel and know his feeling every second.
Helen's mother was efficient. Before they got home the food was almost ready, Francis's room was ready as well as the servants who will assist him. He was not used to have servants around, but he could not refuse since he did not know how things works in that world yet.
[what the, is this for real?]
