”If she is not cured immediately the battle between these organisms will also affect the healthy cells in their surroundings.”

”This wisteria plant has a fulterian (nourishment for good bacteria), but because of its extreme acidity in relation to the body of the patient we will add the Resin leaf extract. We want to achieve the ample amount of acidity to protect the lining of her stomach”

Madel immediately extracted its juices, placed it in a small porcelain bottle and gave it to the sprites.

”let her drink this three times a day for 7 days. It will nourish the good bacteria in her gut to fight off infection.”

She extracted another juice from Dinlaer grass.

”Drink this, it will suppress the bacteria for 1 day. Just enough time for your gut bacteria to strengthen itself.”

The sprite immediately recovered after drinking the juice. They were very happy. The sprites told Madel how they tried to find cure anywhere but they failed.

”You know that any body fluids from other creatures can make you sick. Please refrain from touching your mucus membranes of any part of the face if you touched these body fluids. You can only do so once you washed your hands.”

The sprites obediently nodded and flew away happily.

Henry was intelligent enough to see what happened.

[You're a fool Madel. With no clan to protect you, no money and no zhenqi you sure are brave enough to show your ability out in the open] His mood darkened immediately. It was fortunate that there was no other people around or else he would have run towards her and who knows what he would do.

Deep inside he understood Madel's secrecy and aloofness and he respected it. Behind her mask, shy demeanor and humble character he can see boundless potentials. This thought made him want to protect her. But when didhe ever cared for someone or something this much?

”Other student's started to avoid us like a plague.” Cheska said.

She easily picked up the signs upon setting foot in the academy. Henry looked at her and answered.

”How did your family reacted?”

”They don't have to know.” she said.

”We are just waiting for our death sentence I guess.” Henry gave a smile.

Shadows would not let anyone who saw their kind to live. More so for those who killed one of them.
