They moved faster than a quarter of second. upon realizing it she took her arrow and shoot at them without hesitation. It took three attempts to finally hit the core of those shadows. Without destroying it, the shadows will continue to reform.

Henry wanted to ask her a lot of things. but he did not know where to start.

”can you see the core of the shadows?” he asked.

Madel was shocked. Of all the questions he asked that. He totally hit the spot. It took a while before she can answer. Would she lie? How would she lie? should she tell him the truth.

Henry thought about his question again. He really wanted to ask Madel that question. If her eyes can see beyond a humans capacity and to what extent. But then he realized something.

”hmm” Madel mustered some courage to reply when Henry suddenly butted in.

”Never mind. forget that I asked.” he said.

She was confused with what he said. was he annoyed, angry? Her eyes gave that questioning look.

”I am not mad. Let's just practice okay.”
