Sia's body jumps back and seeing multiple other shapes approaching down the hallway from the cafeteria it turns to the left and escapes the attacker. The lead roaches' mouth works on the flesh in its mouth as it pursues its prey. The horde of cockroaches follow at a slower pace, but not as slow as the Synthetic Intelligence Developer had first inferred. Blood from its injured hand trails behind it.

At 70% increased momentum, Sia's body is eating at internal resources faster than it can handle now. Especially without Sia's consuming any food while escaping. Sia's body has about 5 minutes of fuel left before she will be left with moving at a speed 10% slower than her standard pace.

The Synthetic Intelligence Developer leads Sia's body down a different hallway. Sia's hand is no longer bleeding. The tendons begin to reconnect with each other. The muscles slowly knit together. It holds the hand against its chest.

Sia's body retrieves the keys and picks out the red marked key. It takes a moment to slide the key in, and then open the door. It retrieves the key with the same hand and shuts the door behind itself. It sprints over to a back room and opens the door to the storage area. It is empty.

Sia's body pauses at this and turns back to exit the Chemistry room. The door is being repeatedly hit by the cockroach outside. Its large size does not allow it to squeeze under or above the door.

It can hear scraping and tapping up above in the ceiling.

Sia's body grabs a chair and places it on a table. There is a vent above one of the tables. It hops onto the table and balances on the chair easily. Touching at the vent reveals that it is not screwed in, but securely fits into the ceiling. It pushes up on it and puts its head inside the space. A Periplaneta Americana is stuck and pushing itself into the small space within the ceiling. Its skin is peeling as it shoves its way further and further. It effectively blocks the way for the Periplaneta behind it.

HYPOTHESIS CONFIRMED

Sia's body lowers itself, grabs the metal chair with one hand and takes it along as it goes back into the storage room. Closing the door, it looks at Subject 001's almost healed hand. Wiggling the fingers broadcasts irritation and the skin is not fully formed over the entire hand. It grabs hold of the chair with its metal parts facing the wall.

It waits to hear the door break off its hinges and the ceiling collapse. The insects are filling the room at a fast speed.

It bursts through the wall and runs toward a marked janitorial closet. The insects filling the room pause and scramble over one another as Sia's body runs toward them.

DEACTIVATING UPPER BODY ENHANCEMENT

Then it runs up along the wall and pushes off diagonally onto the other side of the hallway. The insects smack into the wall and step over each other as they crawl rapidly after their prey.
