91 Wedding vows (1/2)

The church was splendid. It was decorated with the motif of red and gold. My favorite red roses are neatly arranged in bouquets. I can smell their scent in the air.

”It is time for you to take your wedding vows.” The priest said. ”Do you man take this woman as your lawfully wedded wife?”

”I do. I Troy Versales, take Jillian Rose Williams as my lawfully wedded wife.” Troy answered. He looked at Jill under her veil.

”Jill I promise to you in front of God and in front of all the guest who bare witness to our matrimony that I will love and cherish you for the rest of our lives. You have been my most important existence. The sole owner of my heart. From this day forth I will be your husband, your best friend, your helper, your slave, and your lover. I promise to be a good father to our future children. I will always be here by your side to help you, to treasure you, and to protect you from all harm. I will always love you, now and forever.” Troy said.

My heart squeezed with affection. His words touched my inner being. A tear came down from my eye.

”And you woman. Do you take this man as your lawfully wedded husband?” The priest asked me.

”I do. I Jillian Rose Williams, take Troy Versales as my lawfully wedded husband. Thru my most trying years, you were there by my side, giving me strength, love and hope. I will be s good mother to our children. From now on I'll be only yours, my heart, my body, and my whole being. I will cherish you for the rest of my life.” I gave my oath.

Troy looks at me with his emerald green eyes. They were glimmering with feelings. His mouth hooks up and gives me a sweet smile.

My hearts swells with happiness. I love this man so much. I answered his sweet smile with my own smile.

”With the power vested in me and before God, your loved ones, and all the people present here I now pronounce you man and wife. You may now kiss the bride.” The priest said.

Troy lifts my veil slowly but surely. After a while I can see him clearly without the obstruction of the veil. I can see my beautiful angel smiling before me.
