38 Short Vacation 3 (1/2)
It was afternoon and I have get a hang on skiing. Troy was a great teacher. We were at the resort's cafeteria having a snack. I was having hot chocolate and a bagel. I was sitting with my father and Shawn. Troy left a while ago because he had a call from work.
”How was your skiing lessons?” father asked.
”I'm doing good. Troy is a great teacher. I'm getting a hang of it.” I said. I sip a little from my cup.
”You could have learned faster if I was the teacher.” Shawn said.
”I'm sure you're good as well.” I smile at him.
”Hmph. When I was your age I can ski at the highest level.” father said bragging.
”I'm sure you are the best daddy.” I praised him. I giggled. It's cute to see my father trying to compete with these two beautiful men. For me he will always be the number one man in my life. I am so happy now that he was giving me the fatherly affection I've yearned for. I won't wish for anything else.
”What a coincidence.” I hear a familiar voice. When I look at my back I see a woman wearing a pink winter jacket and black pants. It was Julia.
”You're also here in this resort.” Julia chimed. ”Hello father.” he gives father a peck on the cheek. ”Hello Shawn.” she gave him a sweet smile.
Shawn just gave her a nod and didn't say anything. Julia was clearly displeased.
”Julia. What brings you here?” father asked.
”A friend asked me to come here.” Julia said. Then three people came near. One woman and two men. Julia introduced them. I looked at their faces then I saw a familiar one. My body started to tremble. I don't know if it was because of fear or anger. The man standing near Julia was the man that defiled me, Brad. I can't forget those light brown eyes and dark brown curly hair. How he had defiled my body that night. I shivered.
”This is Brad. He was friends with Shawn and Queenie in college. But I guess Queenie won't remember because she has amnesia.” Julia said. ”He has been in Australia for 8 years now. He has just returned to N city a few days ago.”
Brad was looking at me with wide eyes and shock.
