28 At each other’s throats (2/2)

”All you two do is fight when you see each other. Always at each other's throats.” I scold them. ”Shawn you're my boyfriend at least please be respectful towards Troy. He's my life savior and brother.” I look at Shawn and he gives me a 'I am sorry look'.

”You too Troy. Shawn is my boyfriend right now. At least try to get along with him.” Troy gives me a guilty look. I sighed.

I also feel gultiy. These two men are the ones that I loved. Now that I am focused on my revenge this two just gives me problems if they face each other. But also my heart hurts. I am using them for my revenge. I'm also a bad person. Do I really deserve the love that they are giving?

Slowly the drowsiness of the medicine took effect on me. My eyes felt heavy and I drifted into deep sleep. I can feel each of my hands was held by the two of them.

”What is it doctor? Is there something wrong with my daughter?” my father asked worriedly.

They were at the doctor's office. CT scans are seen hanging before the light.

”Mayor, your daughter's concussion from the fall 8 years ago has been healed completely. But the thing is, there is a part of her brain where a scar was formed.” the doctor explained. ”It really is not that big of a deal but she can get this splitting headaches often with stress. This also maybe the reason for her memory loss.”

My father sighed in relief. ”Will her memories come back?” my father asked.

”There is a possibility that her memories will return. But the problem will be the shock that it will give her brain.” the doctor explained. ”Her memories can also be in and out if a mental shock or physical trauma came her way.”

”What do you mean doctor?” my father asked confused.

”Her memories are unstable. There can be a time that her memories can return but it can also be taken away again. Or maybe she can remember the past then can't remember this 8 years that happened. We don't know for certain. The human brain is very complicated.” the doctor said. ”Like I said it will depend on her lifestyle so I suggest that she stay away from things that stresses her and also prevent physical trauma.”

”Thanks doctor.” my father said.
