105 How She Came To Be (2/2)

From then on every report that she received from Carl about Avery and Grace arguing made her feel like she was on ecstasy.Every time her husband came home from work she would drag him off to the bed.They would spend countless hours rocking each other's world's. Depending on where she was when she received the report, their love making couldn't wait for the bedroom.

Emroy thought his wife was becoming more spontaneous while she hide the truth to their embrace.When she finally had enough of the fake Avery, she decided it was time to walk back Avery's life and en his suffering by have him return to his rightful place.

When she heard that he was sitting alone on a bench near the park she decided it was time to appear as the angel he needed.She drove herself to a side street close to where he was, she took a couple of calming breathes and stepped out of the car.She couldn't contain her excitement, she was practically running towards him but the moment her eyes caught a glimpse of his face she stopped dead in her tracks.

Avery's golden brown hair was now a dull chestnut brown, his face aged horribly, his eyes looked sunken and bloodshot while the rest of him just sagged on the bench like a used puppet.She couldn't believe it, she didn't want to believe it! The Avery before her was not even a fraction of what he used to be in his youth.Five years, it had only been five years but he had become a shell of his former glory.

She turned around and dragged herself back towards the car.She drove herself home in a daze and walked in.She sat on her bed, curled up into a fetal position and started talking to herself.”That Avery is a fake!No Avery is Avery and you have always loved Avery! But that Avery was not the man you fell in love with... is he broken.... no, no, no Avery is... Emroy...Emroy is the one from my memories.Avery is Emroy, Emroy is Avery, Emroy is the one I love, the one .... for me, he is the true Avery!”

Another year flew by and Angi was excited to be expecting.In her mind Emroy was the one and only true Avery in the world and she was too happy to able to bring his child into the world.As the months flew by, Emroy was ecstatic to find out that they were going to have twin girls.To Agni's disappointment they were having girls, she wished with all her heart to have a mini Avery in her arms but she washed that thought away when she saw her husband's beaming face.

He was happy so she was happy.

After the twins were born, Agni was actually a very attentive mother.She was always involved in everything.She treated them as her little angels and personally watched their development.She wanted them to be as brilliant, loving and outstanding as their father however she realized one undeniable truth.

The girls looked nothing like her Avery.They had golden hair, amber eyes, fair complexion and looked more like a mini her then anything.Friends told her that 4 year olds are always changing and shouldn't feel concerned about them grow into their looks.

Agni couldn't wait she needed to find her husband now.She needed another baby and ”No” was not an answer.After almost a year of trying, the couple were heartbroken.They couldn't understand how they couldn't conceive when they were successful before.

To Agni's horror the birth control she had been using for the past few years caused a side effect, it made her infertile.Her world crumbled around her the moment she heard the news.Nothing really seemed to matter anymore.Emroy tried his best to cheer her up but it was useless.

That is until he got her invited to an art auction for a charity event.She was very unwilling to go at first but the moment she came back her usual bright aura was shinning everywhere. Emroy was delighted with himself that his suggestion brought back his old wife and was able to get back to work without regret.

Agni got to work, researching and scheming.Her social life became very busy that she started to neglected her children.That is until they started to get sick.Emroy tried to inquire about their sudden illness but Agni just brushed him off saying ”Poor things were making themselves sick to get my attention.”

Emroy shrugged and thought nothing of it.That is until Laila became hospitalized and Loreley came out with the truth.It seemed that the girls would have special tea parties with Agni and were always made to drink a funny looking flower tea.They told her they always felt sick after they drank it but she didn't listen.

Emroy flew in the best doctor to check for poisoning and found that in fact Agni was giving them a tea made from a flower back home known for it's nightshade abilities when brewed.Emroy was furious and swore the moment Laila recovered he would take them away from her and file for divorce.

After Agni happily came back from a socialite tea party she found her husband packing his bags.She was shocked that she didn't have to do any of the dirty work to make him leave but the moment he said he was going to expose her wrong doings to the world and shame her it crossed a line.She begged for his forgiveness and asked for another chance.

Emroy couldn't look at his wife the same way.When he walked away and went into his children's room to pack he received a phone call.There was an emergency with the mining and they needed him there right away.With a heavy heart he kissed his girls good bye and went off to extinguish the fire.Unfortunately for him he never made it.

After searching for his plane and body they only found the black box with the last screams of the people onthe private plane.Emroy's death was officially announced.Agni soaked up the attention and told everyone she and the girls would take sometime to grieve back in Emroy's country.

Almost a year passed and Agni came back with the girls more powerful then ever.She found more mines, became well connected with the powers of the Middle Eastern continent, became a well established trader and decided she would be establishing her own jewelry shops.

Nothing was going to stop her from her goals especially when Carl reported Grace Steel's passing.She was delighted it finally happened but she knew she needed to wait she didn't need to see a broken Avery again.When she saw his transformation at the art auction she was in awe.He had become more mature, more mystery, more captivating it was intoxicating.

She needed him to recover from his grief and look for her. So in the mean time she need to invest in her dowry to him and wait until he was ready to have a wife once more.
