Olivia was holding on to Eli's waist as they raced towards their new location.Everything seemed so real now and her thoughts went back to the events of that morning.During that time it seemed like time had stood still but in reality it all happened so quickly.

They had breakfast at C*ra's, Mama Pam's intern refused their invitation to going with them.Which was understandable he needed to get some sleep before he started his afternoon classes.While they waited for breakfast to arrive Olivia excused herself to the washroom and called her father.She told him she was ok and with Eli and his grandmother for breakfast and that she should be home before lunch.

After breakfast they walked back to Mama Pam's home and happily chatted with one another.Olivia had to drink almost a liter of water one hour prior to the ultrasound and had to fight the urge to urinate.It was excruciating, she sat on her hands and tried so hard to think of anything else but soon her enemy now looked like her long time friend and she longed to see it.

When she was finally in a gown and laid on the examining bed, the technician couldn't find anything.Olivia's heart broke, she could feel her world crumbling beneath her as she stared at a light blue and black screen.

The technician then started to wipe the jelly off her abdomen and proceeded to retrieve a long white instrument.She then covered the instrument with what looked like a c*ndom.She turned to Olivia ”You might still be too early to see your little bean.So I'm am going to insert this into you v****a and we will be able to see what is happening.”

Olivia nodded and held Eli''s hand for support.Sure enough on the screen appeared an oddly shaped ball.Olivia felt tears starting to pool in her eyes and she blinked them away.Eli held her hand tighter and stared at the screen affectionately.

”Not many people can get to see this kind of thing often they don't even realize their pregnant till 3 months later.I will print these off for you and Dr. Foster will let you know when you sound schedule your next ultrasound.” she said softly as she started capturing the images on the screen.

Olivia stayed silent as the technician pulled out the instrument.She then handed the photos to Eli before they made their way out the door.Eli walked Olivia back to the change rooms, never taking his eyes off the photos.

After Olivia got changed she gently tapped Eli on the shoulder ”I want to keep the pictures safe.Do you want to take a picture of our baby and save it on your phone?” she asked softly.Eli shook his head excitedly and did what he was told.After they were done they went looking for Mama Pam, they needed to talk to her one more time to get the results of the blood work.

Mama Pam actually surprised them and handed over a normal looking backpack with a pink bow placed on top.Olivia handed her the photos as she took the backpack and realized it actually had some weight to it.

She unzipped the bag and gasped as she looked inside. Powdered formula, angled baby bottles, a pack of newborn diapers and wipes, a 'Wh*t To Exp*ct Wh*n Y*u're Exp*ct*ng' book, a beautiful white and pink onesie decorated with pink bunnies with a pair of pink cotton pants and the tinniest socks she had ever seen in her life.

As Olivia held up the tiny pink socks for Eli to see, she looked at Mama Pam and seen a tiny tear leave her left eye.She covered her mouth to try and hide her smile.When she felt Olivia stare at her she dropped her hand ”You know this means a lot to me.In just a few more days this little egg will start to turn into a crescent moon, in a week it will be a little bean.... Please let me be your doctor till I can get a you with Samantha's OB. ”

Olivia's heart grew at her gentle words.She gave her a deep bow ”Please take care of us from now on.” she said sincerely.

The bike was starting to slow down and Olivia's thoughts were called back from her memories and she looked around.Eli cut the engine and Olivia jumped off the bike and took her helmet off.The wind was blowing a gentle summer's breeze and she looked in front of her in complete surprise.

Eli came up behind her and wrapped his arms around her shoulders.He started to kiss her neck ”I found this lot and was going to surprise you the day after your birthday.When you disappeared I didn't know what to do, I couldn't have them stop construction and thought that when you were back I could show you our dream home.” he murmured against her skin.

”Landscaping won't be started till later this month but we can go inside and and you can try and picture where things will go.... I had them stop working on it after your funeral... I didn't want to... anyways after you came back so I had them work over time and they just finished a couple of days ago.” he said as he let her go and grabbed her hand.

Olivia couldn't believe it.He found the perfect spot to build their home.It was a a lush hill where the plot of land was located and it was at the outer boundary lines of the city.”We are still a 10 minute drive away from my parents though.” he said shyly as he scratched his cheek.Olivia giggled and figured that his parents had a hand in helping him find the new plot.
