53 Olivia Its Time To Prepare (1/2)

Olivia woke up in Eli's arms, she could remember everything that had happened but couldn't do anything to drag her consciousness back to the surface right away ”Eli?” she managed to mutter, Eli looked down on her face and gave her a weary gaze ”I'm sorry I didn't warn you about Quinn.This is my fault, I don't know how I can make this up to you.”

Olivia tried to shift herself off of Eli's lap but he refused to let her go.”No I don't want you to ever leave my arms.” he said solemnly as he squeezed her body against his.Olivia hugged him back ”Eli I think I need help.I can't let the 'doll' me take over when I'm cornered.... it's hard, I hear and see everything but the 'doll' makes me feel nothing and who knows what will happen the next time... what if I take too long to come back and what if... I don't come back at all.I don't want to be useless anymore Eli, I don't want to be a burden... I don't want you... to hate me.” she said as tears of frustration started to spill from her eyes.

Eli cupped her chin and brought her lips to his ”You aren't useless or a burden, I swore I was going to protect you and I will keep my word.” he whispered gently against her lips.Olivia shook her head no ”I want to be stronger, I need to be stronger, Eli be realistic!I can't be watched or protected by you 24/7, I need to be able to protectmyself!” she started to say with a huff.

Eli chuckled darkly ”Do you honestly believe I won't come up with a way to have you watched 24/7 or that I would drop everything to run to you?”Olivia was shocked she had never seen such a dangerous look in his eyes that it caused her body to involuntarily tremble.

Eli gave a sigh and his normal face returned.”I... sorry... what do you want me to do?I know I can't be there for you all the time, that next time might be the time something does happen to you.... but I don't want to loose you... I can't afford to loose you.” he murmured under his breath.Olivia wrapped her arms around his neck and looked him in the eyes.”Train me to fight back!”

It didn't take much convincing to have her father allow her to go over to Eli's house an hour earlier then what she normally did, he fully agreed that she needed self defense training but was skeptical that Eli could properly teach her.She was determined to prove him wrong and to show everyone that she could no longer be pushed around.

She unlocked the front door and took one step into the foyer ”Congratulations!!!” the Delmira family shouted.Olivia dropped her bag onto the floor as a blank faced Mrs. Delmira wrapped her arms around her body and started jumping up and down in joy.

”He finally proposed!Samantha showed me the video, it was just adorable!Your planning for an August wedding right?Did you pick a date yet?Will you come live here until your house is built? Oh please live here!Even if you plan to have babies right away I can help you with everything! Honey, if they had babies right away you would be such a loving grandfather!Oh they would be such beautiful babies too!I hope they mostly look like you!Seeing theses faces every single function!I'm dying for some cuteness!” she said excitedly while her eyes sparkled with love, happiness and anticipation.

Olivia felt her face flush at Mrs. Delmira's words, though the women could not express herself with her face, she fully utilized her voice and eyes and Olivia got her message.They want grandbabies and soon.Olivia took a peek at Mr. Delmira and watched him comfort an embarrassed Eli again, he wasn't showing his usual stone face but was smiling widely as he nodded towards her.

Samantha was laughing her butt off and trying to hold herself up, while Aaron was stone faced ”Well I guess I have too look for someone like you when I go on the hunt for my bride, unless you have a baby girl soon then I can marry her and save myself the trouble” he said candidly as he crossed his arms over his chest.
