The fact that the Black Dragon Guild could rule over Immortal Island for so many years meant that they were not weaklings themselves. It wasn’t hard to tell from Chiat’s squad that all of them worked incredibly well together.

Excluding Fourteen Heavenly Maple, who was killed by Wang Yu, there was a total of ten players on Chiat’s side.

There were Warriors, Priest, Magicians and Archers and with each differing job, they seemed to have covered every aspect of a team battle.

Even though these people all had conventional jobs, the control and movements among the squad were well worked out. Even though they might not have any unique traits, they did not have any weakness too. This was especially effective for PK with others.

After all, players were not BOSS and they only had this much HP. Focusing too much on causing damage to the opponent would result in overflow of damages and that could be considered a wastage. The Japanese loved conserving so coordinating like that matched the nature of their personality.

Chiat and the others were never far from Wang Yu. With [Charge], this fella arrived right in front of Wang Yu in a blink of an eye. While raising his shield, he launched the opening attack on Wang Yu with [Shield Bash].

After playing the game for such a long time, players knew each and every one of their skills well. Because of the slow increase in a player’s speed attributes, every player would have come up with possible combinations of skills to maximise the damage and speed.

[Charge] and [Shield Bash] was one example of such combinations.

[Charge] and [Shield Bash] were both high judgement skills of a Guardian. In a situation where ten of them were fighting one person, a skill like [Charge] might be a little awkward because it was easy for the opponent to dodge. On the other hand, even though [Shield Bash] could knock someone giddy, the range of attack was too short and the execution of the skill would take too much time. In this manner, it became easy for the opponent to dodge it too.

Executing [Shield Bash] just when [Charge] was about to end made it a very practical combination to knock someone from far away.

Of course, one had to see who the opponent was.

Chiat was relatively more unfortunate because, with the growing influence of Black Dragon Guild, a player of his status wouldn’t see the need to PK other players during normal days. Most of these small tricks were used in PVE and when he finally found an opponent in real life, he was a hell-level player…

In the face of the oncoming Chiat, Wang Yu remained seated. When Chiat was about to hit him, Wang Yu grunted coldly as he extended his right leg forward and towards Chiat’s feet.

Wang Yu was firm as his leg struck Chiat’s calves.

The high-speed Chiat lost his balance after being kicked in his calves as he fell in front of Wang Yu.

With both hands pressing against the ground, Wang Yu stood up and executed [Thunder God’s Stomp] on the back of Chiat’s head.

As a Guardian, Chiat had over a hundred thousand HP and Wang Yu’s attack merely took away half of his health. However, because Wang Yu attacked the back of his head, Chiat was struck into a state of stun.

While being stunned, a player could neither move nor speak but he was still aware of the surroundings. Chiat frantically opened his squad chat and said, “Save me!”

Just when Wang Yu was about to finish Chiat off, the Warrior following closely behind Chiat arrived next to Wang Yu. With a swing of his blade, he executed [Tornado Slash] towards Wang Yu while the attacks of the Archers and Magicians further away flew towards Wang Yu.

Wang Yu took one step back unhurriedly as he extended both arms to drag two figures out from the air. With a swing of both arms, two Assassins were tossed out by Wang Yu.

One of them died in mid-air after suffering the force of all the incoming arrows and magic attacks while the other crashed into the Warrior and was killed by his [Tornado Slash]. The Warrior also fell to the ground by the impact of the flying Assassin.
