After getting back up, Wang Yu executed his Qing Gong to enter one of the houses without hesitation and at the fastest possible speed.
”F*ck…”
Looking at the mirages left behind by Wang Yu's run, the players on the pagoda gasped. Was he a Pugilist or an Assassin?
After Wang Yu suffered that blow from the pagoda, the rest of the Quan Zhen Sect gathered back together. Everyone stared at each other in the eyes, looking dazed.
Their advisor was dead from the very first attack from the enemy and their main force, Wang Yu, had been struck into great despair by the enemy's three lightning bolts.
At this moment, everyone from the Quan Zhen Sect stared at the cannon on that tall pagoda with fear in their eyes.
Seeing that nobody said anything, Wang Yu opened up and said, ”So what do we do now?”
Fearless was not around so Spring Halo took up his position. He scratched his chin to answer Wang Yu's question, ”Looking at the situation and how we're leading in terms of points, I suggest we hide here until the end of the round.”
”Brother Spring is right!” everyone agreed.
The magic cannons could instant kill any one of them here so nobody was willing to charge out.
Only Vainglory actually bothered to look around as he commented fearfully, ”Even though Spring Dog's suggestion sounds reasonable, do you think staying here is actually safe?”
”Hmm…”
After Vainglory said something like that to scare them, everyone gave him the deadly glares. ”Why don't we beat this kid up first?”
”F*ck!” Vainglory quickly hid behind Wang Yu and complained, ”Uncle Bull, look at them!”
”Alright! Stop fooling around.” Wang Yu waved his hands and said, ”Since no lightning bolts have descended from that pagoda so far, it seems like this house is pretty safe. Everyone hide for now and let's see what happens.”
Vainglory commented sheepishly, ”Not like that cannon can only fire lightning bolts, right?”
”F*ck…”
Everyone revealed their vicious glares at Vainglory again as he quickly went into hiding.
”Sii…”
At this moment, a weird sound could be heard.
”Damn it! Who farted?!”
Spring Halo pinched his nose as he looked at Vainglory.
When everyone saw that, they pointed at Vainglory and shouted, ”Little Chicky, why are you farting in a game?!”
”I will kill all of you!”
After being bullied on multiple occasions, Vainglory stood up and was about to beat them up. However, his eyes suddenly froze as he pointed at the back of everyone, ”Be… Behind…”
”???”
In this competition squad, Yang Nuo was the only lady and in order to not mix around with these b*stards, she stood right at the back of everyone.
By the time everyone could react, the poisonous fog had already reached Yang Nuo.
Yang Nuo couldn't get out of the fog and within three seconds, she was enveloped and turned into white light.
”F*ck!”
Everyone ran towards the neighbouring house to hide after seeing that.
In about ten seconds, the fog filled up the entire house that they were previously in. Not long later, it seeped through the door and spread towards them again.
At this moment, everyone finally realised that these were not houses. Instead, they were poisonous gas defense zones used in a defense strategy.
At the thought of this, everyone couldn't help but curse, ”F*ck! How shameless must they be to choose a map like this?”
Besides these poisonous gas zones, everywhere else in this map was an open space in which the cannons from the pagoda could strike.
This meant to say that there was a 99% chance of winning this round as long as the team managed to snatch the Magician Pagoda first.
