Everyone was not disappointed with Wang Yu but they had always thought Wang Yu was invincible. Therefore, they had this foreboding sense of frustration when they found out that there were others even stronger than Wang Yu.

There was no other way around it. One could barely fight 20 men but the other could defeat a thousand men. There was almost a hundredfold difference between the two.

”You are just exaggerating… One person fighting two thousand, what physical strength does that man have?” Yang Nuo could not help but chime in the discussion.

The peerless martial artists usually came from the military. Since the military and martial arts were closely related, Yang Nuo had some understanding towards the inner workings of both fields.

One had to know that soldiers were different from ordinary men. Their strength will exponentially when soldiers work together. Under the absolute suppression of the overwhelming quantity of soldiers, even a martial arts Grandmaster might not be able to take such a blow.

The people who were most proficient in Taiji were the Yang and Chen Families. It was just a myth that Taiji practitioners could fully redirect their opponent's force in battle. In actuality, to achieve such a feat, one had to even utilise a greater amount of force than their opponents. Wang Yu was also a Taiji grandmaster himself thus he understood Taiji much better than the ordinary person.

However, Wang Yu was not too sure whether there was a higher realm of Taiji that one could achieve and proceeded to ask Yang Nuo.

Yang Nuo replied with a darkened expression, ”My grandfather is no stronger than you… My family has a few hundred years of heritage yet we have not seen such a person before.” Wang Yu quipped, ”Is it the Chen Family then?”

Yang Nuo grinned, ”If it was really the Old Chen Family, do you think your family can still remain unscathed?”

”Hmm…” Wang Yu heard the words and he looked away in embarrassment.

Yang Nuo did not wrongly blame the Wang Family. The Wang Family was traditionally a strong family and this was especially so for Old Wang. However, Old Wang was simply too unreasonable on certain matters. Taking the matter concerning Wang Yu as an example, it could be seen how far he could go to try to impose on others.

The other smaller families were still more harmonious and thus were at the losing end when dealing with the Wang Family.

If the Chen Family or any other powerhouse families had such an expert in their ranks, it was likely the Wang Family would be the first to be targeted.

Seeing that none of the four major martial arts families had such an expert, Wang Yu could not help but sigh, ”There is always someone stronger…”

”Now you know that one team's strength is simply not enough to defeat him. Do you want to join forces with us?” Wilted Old Tree finally revealed his true intentions.

Wang Yu did not get the opportunity to reply. Fearless interjected and said, ”We will take your kindness to heart, but the members from Quan Zhen Sect don't like to ally with others.”

Allying with other Guilds brought its own share of troubles. If there were disputes between the Guilds, Quan Zhen Sect might even be forced to give up a share of the Obsidian equipment they obtained… The members from Quan Zhen Sect clearly did not have such a habit of sharing.

”You guys are not afraid that Lucifer and Martial Yin Yang might find trouble with you?” Seeing that Fearless did not accept his offer, Wilted Old Tree furrowed his brows and asked.
