On the way back, I passed by a certain pastry shop that Hanako and I went together before, thus I decided to buy her a cheesecake.

”Oh, I remember you. So, how is it between you and your girlfriend now?”

The last time we came here was probably when Hanako tried to remind me of the promise we made 5 years ago. Now...

”Ah, we're doing great! Can I have the same cheesecake that my girlfriend ate back then, please?”

”Coming right up!”

After putting the cheesecake into a box, the clerk handed it over to me and gave me a warm smile before uttering a warning.

”Oh, and don't get beaten up like last time, okay?”

Cr*p... Should I change the flavour of the cheesecake just to increase my chance of survival?

In the end, I didn't.

”I'm back, Hanako!”

”Welco- What the hell are you carrying with you?!?!”

With a smug grin on my face, I gave her my reply:

”I'm moving in!”
