37 The Missing Girl Part 1 (1/2)
”Mio!”
I ran around the house, desperately trying to find Mio. After the event which happened last night, Mio could not be seen again. When I went to her room the next morning, Mio is no longer there, and in her place is a piece of paper that she had left for me.
”Thank you for taking care of me, Nii-sama. I hope that you can find happiness. Goodbye, Nii-sama. May we meet again if fate permits.
From - Your dearest sister.”
Of course, I panicked when I saw that letter.
”Charlotte! Have you seen Mio?!?!”, I asked her frantically.
”Onii-chan? Why are you so flustered? Isn't Mio in her room?”
”No!!! She went missing! Look at this!”, I showed the note that Mio left behind to Charlotte.
”Wha?!?!”
Since Charlotte didn't see her either, I called our parents to see if they know anything.
”Yuuji? Ah! Nope! I don't know anything! You know that I'm overseas right now, right? Good luck Yuuji! If you need anything, just call me. I'll do whatever I can to help you.”
It seems that my father won't be able to help me out...
”Yuuji? Mio's missing?!?! Sorry, Yuuji! I can't help you! I'm in France right now...”
WHY DOESN'T ANY OF MY PARENTS INFORM ME WHEN THEY'RE GOING ABROAD?!?!
And as if she is able to read my mind, my mother immediately replied,
”I mean, you should have noticed right, Yuuji? We haven't been home for several days already. Do we really need to tell you everything?”
Argh!!!! This is so frustrating!!! After I hung up the call on my mother, I immediately thought up of an ingenious plan.
”Wait... If I use the <<Little Sister Protection Program>>, I should be able to find her whereabouts right?”
I hurriedly turned on my computer and opened the program, only to find that the spot which is supposed to display the location of my little sister is currently at my house.
”Wha?!?!”
Due to the shock, I rose up from my chair in a hurry, causing the note Mio left behind to fall down from my pocket. As I picked it up, I found that she also wrote something on the backside of the note.
”P.S. Don't think that I don't know about the GPS tracking device you always put on me, Nii-sama.”
So she knew about it all along?!?!
Crap... What am I supposed to do now...
