7 The Promise we made... (1/2)

After I finished cleaning the mess that I've created, I went back to the classroom. There, I met Hanako sleeping on the table. Her sleeping face is quite adorable. It makes me want to pinch her cheeks. However, I restrained my urges and went to wake her up.

”Ungh...”

”Wake up, Hanako. The sun is about to set, you know?”

”Who is thi-AH?!?! Yuuji?!?!”

”Yep. It's me. So why were you sleeping here, Hanako? Don't you usually go home immediately after class?”

It's quite unusual for Hanako to still be here. Usually, she would immediately walk out of the classroom as soon as the classes are over, and also drag me out in the process.

”I- I-...”

”What's wrong, Hanako? Are you feeling a little ill?”

As I reached out my right hand to touch her forehead, she immediately slapped it down and said,

”D- Don't get any ideas, okay? It wasn't as if I was waiting for you or something! Hmph!”

As she said that, she grabbed her bag and then started to walk out of the classroom.

”So... What were you doing here?”

I wasn't expecting her to wait for me anyway. So I asked what was on my mind. However...

”S-S-Stupid Yuuji! Hmph!!!”, she puffed out both of her cheeks and stormed out of the classroom.

I'm pretty sure I didn't say anything that is supposed to make her angry there...

Anyways...

”Hey, since you're here anyway. Wanna walk home together?”, for some reason, those words of mine made her stop in her tracks.

”W-well... I mean if you want to walk home with me that much, I could allow you to do so-”

”I'm leaving!”

”Mou~! Stupid Yuuji!!!”

As the sun started to set, we kept walking together towards where our homes are located.

”Nee~ Yuuji. Can we go to the park before we go home? Please?”
