38 Her Wish (1/2)

Beel and Sir Adam was taken back by her reply. They could feel her anger.

”So now you blame your parents? You do not know what happened to them and their difficulties, but already start to blame them for your problems?”

”Why should I understand their situation? Do they understand mine? Do they even spend a second of their time to think about me? Why am I left alone?” Erza did not back down. She released those hidden resentments in her heart.

Sir Adam sighed. He understood where she came from. She had every rights to be angry. However, he still thought that it was not good for her to blame her parents when she still had no idea about her parents situation.

Standing beside her, Beel actually had a sad smile on his face, however it quickly vanished before anyone could notice.

”Calm down. I have covered you this time.” Sir Adam suddenly said.

”What does Elder mean?” Erza expression changed.

”I have altered the record of your training. When the other elders or the principal try to watch it, they would not be able see anything.”

Erza was pleasantly surprised with what she heard.

”Why?”

”Because we believe that you will bring us to a greater height.”

'We?' Erza assumed that he was referring to the patriarch.

In the end, it was just as Sir Adam said. When the other elders and the principal investigated what truly happened inside her training field, they found nothing.

They knew that someone of a high status had tempered with the recording. Moreover, they had an idea who it was, however they assumed that he did it to protect his clan secret. After all, they heard that Erza was requesting a combat field with King realm experts as her opponents.

To be able to survive until the night time, Erza surely possessed extraordinary secrets. They assumed that it was a clan secret treasure.

Erza went back after thanking the elder for his help. To be honest, she did not completely believe in his explanation. She had a feeling that the elder knew more. However, since he refused to talk about it, then there was nothing that she could do. The current her still did not have the power to ask for an answer.

”You are the boy who came with Supreme Elder in the destiny test six years ago, right?” Erza suddenly asked Beel on their way back. Again, she did it via voice transmission.

”Is that important?”

Erza did not reply to his question and continued to walk.

”Why?” Beel did not directly admit it but he still asked for her reason.

Erza continued to walk away.

”Are you starting to have your period?” Beel asked in amusement.

”Fine, it was me. Why?” He realized that it was pointless to deny it anymore. In addition, he was feeling a bit sorry for her today after hearing her outburst. She was definitely someone he could trust.

Erza stopped and turned to face Beel. She looked deeply into his eyes and said seriously.

”Please help me to become an empress.”
