115 She is Still Alive (1/2)
A man with a grey suit sits in a dark room staring at a T.V screen. The evening news is airing.
He half listens to it, while he checks and replies important e-mails on his phone.
Police officers are reporting a dangerous criminal on the loose. A woman around the age of twenty-nine kidnapped and brutally tortured two of her female co-workers. Even though the women have been rescued, they are still in the hospital recovering from their injuries while the suspect is on the run.
The picture of a noble-looking woman is displayed on the screen.
She has shoulder length black hair, straightened and cut to perfection. She is wearing a neat black suit with her inner shirt buttoned all the way to the top and a red tie knotted firmly around her neck.
She looks very proper. It makes it almost impossible to tie such a vicious crime to the person on the screen.
Her looks are quite ordinary so she can easily blend into a crowd. If not for the long scar on her face and her stoic expression, you could mistake her for anyone you see on the street.
The man stares at the screen. His fingers typing on his phone pause and his eyes remain fixed on the young woman.
His face scrunches up into a frown. 'This girl...she looks so familiar?'
He reads the name at the bottom of her picture before his eyes widen in shock.
Shen Xun?
Is this really Shen Xun?
Shen Xun... his maternal cousin.
The girl his family took in after her parents died.
The girl he thought went missing along with his mother and only two sisters twelve years ago?
