Does he live here? Even though it would explain why he was missing for three days, it doesn't make any sense. It would be inconvenient.

There is no reason for him to be here. This new villa is actually much further away from his office than his old one.

Could he be visiting a friend? No, she has met all of his friends before. They are rich and elite. She can't imagine them settling for a house in such a neighborhood. Most of them led very private lives and would not tolerate having neighbors even though the villas were fenced and had a lot of space between them.

Shen Xun sits in her car feeling very conflicted.

A normal person with common sense, but she didn't.

She knew that the police were on her tail, but she couldn't throw away her curiosity. Anything concerning Han Yuan takes top priority.

She drives her car straight into the direction he just came from.

Han Yuan walks to the building headquarters, ignoring all the greetings from the employees.

”Where are they?” He asks the receptionist and she immediately realizes that he is talking about the police officers.

”Upstairs, sir.”

He heads straight for the elevator and walks to his office.

Two police officers are waiting in front of it with Deng Xiao.

The officers give their report and ask Han Yuan a few questions concerning Shen Xun's behavior and personal habits. He answers them all and has Deng Xiao see them off once they conclude.

Han Yuan takes a deep breath before walking inside his office. He sits in his chair and drums his fingers on his desk.

'Shen Xun, you better not let me find you myself.'
