107 Incomparably Empty (1/2)

After recovering from her shock, Shen Xun ran straight into her car and drove back home.

She was exhausted, heartbroken, and furious.

She walks into the guest room hoping to vent her anger out on Sun Tang and Sarah but instead freezes in horror. The bed is empty.

Broken pieces of metal from the chain she bound them with are scattered on the floor and the window has been shattered.

Shen Xun's body trembles before she falls on the ground in panic.

They've escaped.

She runs to her room, grabs a gym bag and stuffs it with clothing, food, and weapons.

She can't stay here for another second. Since those two have escaped then it's only a matter of time before the police arrive. She was gone for three days so she doesn't know when or how it happened.

Without wasting any more time, she gets into her car and speeds off.

The next morning came quick and Han Yuan could not wait to leave.

He is still very upset over the fact that he had to spend the night here in his old villa instead of his new one beside Su Lian.

Even though the new villa is a downgrade compared and the neighborhood didn't suit his taste, he still preferred it. This place was huge and elegant, but incomparably empty.

After putting on his suit, he gets in his car and drives in the opposite direction of the Han Group.

He isn't going to his office today, he's going to meet up with his friend, Chen Ming.

The Chen family owns a very large entertainment and media industry and Chen Ming has been overseas for the past three months. He came back two weeks ago, expecting to receive a warm welcome from his good friend, but he was completely snubbed.
