It was early morning, as a servant walked into the room David was sleeping in. As he walked near David, David jumped the servant pinning him to the wall. However not a moment later David stopped and said he was sorry and went back to his bed, while the servant dropped off breakfast.

”You've got a lot of explaining to do Dragon,”.

Soul hearts, according to lore, i what lets players be who they are. Soul hearts allowed players to respawn, and be ruled by the system.

But it also had another important use.

”I can't remember my past, no wonder,”.

Soul hearts are what allowed players to keep their memories as they came into this universe. David only had memories of his time in this universe but not at Earth.
