Chapter 506 - Pushing For The Ninth Tier Of The Divine Treasure Realm (2/2)
“I think we’re finally safe!”
Among the four figures, the woman patted her chest and sighed relief. She seemed to have heard the roar of a strange monster ringing out from the other end of the crack.
“I didn’t expect the transportation talisman to actually work!”
One of the men, who sported an average build, looked at the burnt transportation talisman in his hand. He seemed to be unable to believe it himself.
At that moment, another tall and thin young man slowly said, “Assuming we have been transported to the correct place, this should be the legendary Penglai Island as the ancestral master said. This must be where the ancestors of our Sanxian Sect lived!”
The third man, who sported a strong build, felt the spirit qi around him. He said, “There seems to be quite an abundance of spirit qi here. It seems that no one has been here for many years. No wonder the spirit qi here is so strong!”
Feeling rather depressed, the woman said, “Of course the transportation talisman works. My father personally gave it to you, saying it can save your life. I didn’t expect to have to use it to save my life. What should we do now? We can’t go back!”
When her father had first given them the transportation talisman, he said to only use it in the direst of emergencies. This was the last transportation talisman in their sect.
The young man with the medium build said, “Let’s wait then. I have heard that the spirit qi on Earth is reviving very quickly. Soon, all the sects will return to Earth in large numbers. Once that happens, we will be reunited with the sectmaster and the others.”
After thinking about it, the others could only agree with him. If they went back to the same place now, that monster on the other side would’ve eaten them whole.
They didn’t want to have to go through that.
The tall and skinny man said, “I’ve heard that the cultivation world here is very weak. We should be strong enough to run rampant and become influential people!”
The third man with a strong build then added, “We need to find a way out of here first!”
The group of people looked around as they walked. Since no one had lived here for many years, the original pavilions and terraces had long been turned into ash. This place was like a forest.
They carefully explored the place, worried that some sort of ferocious monster would’ve suddenly appeared before them.
As they walked through the forest, the woman pointed to something that must’ve been not too far away. She suddenly exclaimed, “Someone’s over there!”
All eyes looked towards where she pointed. There, they saw a young man wearing a white robe.
With a handsome face and eyebrows that slanted upwards and outwards, he looked like a man that came out of a painting.
He was sitting on a huge spirit stone that they had never seen before.
“Someone’s actually here?” The man with medium build suddenly became vigilant.
According to what their sect said, they left after Liu Bowen had cut the dragon’s vein, leaving no one behind.
In theory, nobody should’ve been here on Penglai Island. Oddly enough, however, someone had actually appeared.
It would’ve made sense if the boundary and the formation that was set here in the early years was broken.
However, they found that neither the boundary nor the formation had been broken. It was the same as when they had left it.
It was very strange to suddenly find this person here.
The woman patted her chest and said, “It doesn’t matter. As long as our strength is very powerful on Earth, there is nothing to be afraid of!”
