Chapter 463 - A Cannonball-like Punch Destroying Everything in its Path (1/2)
Lu Xuan’s reappearance restored the morale of those from the Yunxuan Villa.
Everyone immediately began to feel safer than they had before his return.
It seemed as if he had some sort of magic power about him that was able to put everyone at ease. It seemed to be telling them that they had nothing to fear as long as he was around.
What everyone felt immediately was not the joy of seeing him around again. It was instead a sense of security; they felt as if they caught a lifeline amidst all that chaos.
Lu Xuan was actually more than just a lifeline to them; he was regarded as the very stabilizing core.
It was the kind of feeling that he could single-handedly stabilize everything with his own powers alone.
The fallen angels that were ganging up on Lu Shanshan and Liu Wanrong then sensed an extremely terrifying aura emanating from Lu Xuan. One by one, they left them be.
All of them knew too well if they were to be unable to take down Lu Xuan, there was no way they could win the battle.
They call themselves fallen angels?
Lu Xuan looked at all of the fallen angels before him and the endless waves of low-level demons from Hell that kept rushing at the villa.
Since he was no stranger to those low-level demons, he also knew the likes of fallen angels well.
Those beings that looked similar to devilish beings had truly once been two-winged angels, similar to the ones that he killed back in the Vatican City all those years ago.
In a sense, they were literally fallen angels.
Those beings resembling demons became so because they were unable to acclimate to the abhorrent environmental conditions of hell, and then genetic mutation happened.
That was mostly what happened if one were to look at it from the perspective of modern science.
Lu Xuan met fallen angels of higher levels before. Things were different with angels that had four, six, eight, or even twelve wings. Although they were all of higher levels, they were all different from one another. The higher their levels, the smaller the number of devilish traits seen on them.
Things were different with the fallen angels compared to the only twelve-winged angel among the fallen ones: Lucifer. Lu Xuan had even seen Lucifer use light magic, which dazzled with holy light. There was no hint of that angel becoming one of the devilish beings.
Even so, Lucifer still seemed to enjoy burning in Hell.
Then again, even those low-level fallen angels proved to still be too much for the Yunxuan Villa at the time. There was no doubt that they did not have many ways to repel such enemies.
The weakest of the fallen angels were at the fourth tier of the Divine Treasure Realm. None of them would have been able to pose any threat to Lu Shanshan, Liu Wanrong, and Yun Ling’er on their own.
However, a group ganging up on each of the three was still capable of making the situation so strenuous that the threat was potentially lethal.
Things were naturally worse for the others as they were no match for those fallen angels at all. The difference between power levels was too obvious.
Cultivators who were at the same levels as those fallen angels would have had trouble taking them on; being considered royalty within Hell, they were known to be extremely formidable in the first place.
There was no need to say much about that leader of the fallen angels. Its unbelievable powers from being at the sixth tier of the Divine Treasure Realm greatly injured Yun Ling’er after all.
The way Lu Xuan saw it, that leader was forced to suppress its powers and levels just so it could advent on Earth and avoid being destroyed by the planet’s limitations.
Such a being was no doubt a threat like no other for Yunxuan Villa in its current state.
The invasion was also something that had never happened back in his past life as well.
“I never had any intentions of fighting fire with fire.” Lu Xuan sighed, but the look in his eyes became determined shortly after he spoke.
While killing would not effectively solve any problems, it could still get rid of whoever created such problems in the first place.
Lu Xuan instantly brandished his blade. As the skies turned dark, countless bolts of lightning flickered within before coalescing into a lightning dragon.
