Lu Xuan laughed out loud and answered, “Do you seriously think you could just call it a day by leaving? It must be your the first time the two of you are doing this, right? If you two were fighting against someone that wasn’t me, would you just let your opponent leave? Did any of you use your brains for even a little bit before you decided to say something so naïve?”

Both of them were immediately rendered silent right away after hearing his words. If they were the ones who would gain the upper hand, there was no doubt that Lu Xuan would be the one lying on the ground at the moment. In that case, there was no way they would even let Lu Xuan live, let alone allow him to escape.

“Then what do you want?” That middle-aged man continued glaring at Lu Xuan. “Don’t think for a second that your immense power makes you invincible. If you aren’t going to just let us leave, you’ll sure as hell regret it once the great ancestor gets here.”

“What? That old dragon? Can that thing even come out?” Lu Xuan chuckled coldly and continued, “If I’m not mistaken, that thing is now locked up in some cage and is unable to get out. Am I right about that? Otherwise, you people wouldn’t need to do its dirty work.”

That fat woman gasped in fright, “How did you know that?”

However, she quickly realized that she had just blurted out crucial information.

Their great ancestor’s imprisonment in the Myriad Demon Valley was why the forces of the Myriad Demon Valley laid low for so long, in the first place; there was no way to leave.

Lu Xuan casually explained further, “There’s nothing about you people from the Myriad Demon Valley that I don’t already know. Well, I guess I don’t know what that old dragon is thinking as we speak. Regardless, I dare say that the decision to let you people out of the valley at such a time would be one of the biggest regrets of its life.”

The middle-aged man and the fat woman looked at each other. The shock that they both felt deep down was written in their eyes. None of them expected Lu Xuan to know so much about what was happening in the Myriad Demon Valley.

Conventional logic said that even human sects and clans back from so long would not know about what was happening with the Myriad Demon Valley because that they had been laying so low. Common people were hardly aware of their existence at all.

When those three went out to wreak havoc across all of Huaxia, the only conclusions that the humans were able to come to was that they were merely demons.

Nothing regarding their origins and the forces behind them were known to the humans at all.

The two had never even seen any human who knew as well as about the valley as Lu Xuan did.

Lu Xuan touched his chin for a bit and elaborated even further, “Based on what I know, your current training wouldn’t have allowed you guys to completely take on human forms without even a single demonic trait left at all. That is, unless, that Transformation Tree in the Myriad Demon Valley has ripened.”

The two demons looked somewhat exasperated at how bluntly Lu Xuan was putting it as if he was looking at the tree with his very own eyes.

Even back in the Myriad Demon Valley, the Transformation Tree was considered the most precious treasure among all treasures. Thus, it was very heavily guarded.

Despite being monster kings that rule over their own regions, it was still completely impossible for them to get near that tree at all.

According to what their great ancestor said, that Transformation Tree served as the key to demons’ hundred year-plan.

Only with an endless supply of Transformation Fruits from the tree was secured could the demons possibly gain intellect that rival that of the humans.
