Chapter 364 - The Demons (1/2)

Everyone was left completely stunned.

While they had no idea who that black-robed young man was, the fact that he was bold enough to insult the Special Task Force and gatecrash the agency’s headquarters in such a manner spoke volumes of the unparalleled level of courage that he possessed.

“You people truly are no match for me. Gosh, you humans are sloppy,” the young man smirked coldly. “Despite supposedly being the most powerful agency in Huaxia, this is the all the Special Task Force, has got?”

That black-robed young man instantly burst with something resembling pulses of shockwaves that shattered all of the building’s reinforced glass, causing the entire building to crack all over the place.

‘You humans?’ That was the thought that came to the minds of many.

Then again, the sight of a figure shooting up to the air right away with a shout left no time for them to rest.

A flash of sword aura was seen tearing through the sky, heading straight for the young man standing in midair.

The one who attacked was none other than Ming Yueyao. The sword aura attack that she used dazzled like the scorching sun.

Hmph.

That black-robed young man still did not seem to pay her any heed. His hand instantly turned into something resembling the paw of a beast completely covered in thick fur.

It took him a single clap to crush that blast of sword aura on the spot.

The incoming attack did not manage to even scratch him at all.

Shoop!

That young man immediately disappeared from his spot.

The Dragon realized something was off right away. “Dammit! Yueyao, back off!”

However, the warning came too late. The young man instantly appeared right in front of her and clenched that thick, furry paw of his into a fist before punching her hard.

Boom!

Ming Yueyao was sent flying like a cannonball, crashing hard onto the ground below. A huge crater in the Special Task Force’s plaza was left in its wake.

Pfftt!

Blood spewed from her mouth right there and then as she felt several ribs in her chest broken. Despite being an Airborne Realm cultivator, she was still almost killed by that punch.

“Fire!”

The Dragon was furious. All the runic cannons hidden all over the agency’s vicinity fired one after another, forming a tight net of shells heading towards that young man.

The young man simply laughed away as he conjured a transparent barrier around him.

Boooooooomm!

Consecutive explosions were heard almost immediately.

While the young man looked somewhat ragged and ruffled after the dust settled, it also became clear that the bombardment did not manage to cause him any real harm.

“Hahahahaha. Well, I’d call it a day for now. Also, I’m quite interested in the dead body of this angel, so I’ll be taking it with me. Hopefully, you people will be able to put up a better fight in the future.”

That young man then laughed out loud again before flying away like a shooting star moments later.

Everything as far as the eye could see was now in shambles. The Dragon called for medical assistance for Ming Yueyao while feeding her pills for healing.

His face was ashen, being surprised that someone had dared to just step into his base and act as if they owned the place.

The bad news didn’t even stop there. Even the runic cannons, which served as their last resort, failed to even do anything to the intruder. If the news of what just happened were to spread, it would no doubt become a tremendous insult to the Special Task Force.

There was no way the agency could maintain its fearsome reputation from then on out.
