Li Zihan had no idea why he said what he just said. He sounded like a pathetic embarrassment, but he had no other choice. If he were to say anything else that sounded out of place, he knew without a doubt that Lu Xuan would have just taken his head without second thoughts.

“That’s right.” Lu Xuan nodded satisfyingly. “You young people should dedicate yourselves to your training, instead of sticking your nose into other people’s mess. You should just train hard and turn a deaf ear to rumors and whatnot. You see it now? Don’t you think that you’re now getting your a** handed to you, before you refuse to listen to your elders eh?”

“Y-Yes, indeed, indeed. You are indeed correct, Mr. Lu,” Li Zihan answered right away, feeling himself drenched in cold sweat as he continued to shake.

Everyone else present felt the scene to look very, very bizarre at the moment.

He had no intentions of killing Li Zihan as well, as he saw the extra act to be pointless. If it had not been for Zhu Wuzhi insisting on getting in his way, he might not have killed Zhu Wuzhi as well.

All those people acted as if they were big shots of some kind, yet in Lu Xuan’s eyes, they were just some insignificant, nameless faces.

It did not take him more than a thought to go about killing someone.
