While she stared at him in deep confusion, a hand raised from her side to hit her. Before it could even touch her, Christin hand reached out and grabbed it.

Angelize was stunned.

That was close. She shouldn't have let her mind wander.

Christin was definitely not strong as Angelize. But as for someone who never had an advanced training in martial arts like Angelize, he sure was better.

”Ganging up on a girl?”, Christin sneered at Zayden contemptuously as he threw away the hand of the man who had tried to hit Angelize earlier and sided Angelize protectively.”Do you still call yourself a man?”

Of course Christin knew that this girl was not to be underestimated and Zayden did the wise thing to bring so many men to tackle her but still Christin had to mock Zayden by saying something.

”Christin, this matter has nothing to do with you. You better not intervene in it”, Zayden said sternly.

Christin and Zayden were not in very good term. It was basically because of Noah. Noah had something severe and mysterious against Zayden and so enmity crept between Zayden and Christin too.

So Zayden voice was not very polite when he snapped at Christin unlike the rest of the college, excluding Angelize, that talked to Christin with wagging tails and flattering smiles.

”How has it nothing to do with me?”, Christin smirked at Zayden, ”The person here is my partner”, he said, ”And everything that has something to do with her has everything to do with me”

Zayden was stupefied.

Angelize coughed.

”Assignment partner”, she corrected.

For the first time Angelize didn't mind him nosing in other matters. If he hadn't come she would have to knock out all of those hooligans and with everything being recorded, she was sure it would end up in a lot of trouble.

Trouble because she would later have to spend a lot of time and resources to hack into recording center of college and delete the video to prevent it from leaking out.

And hacking into the best institute of the continent? Even if she was proficient, it would still spur suspicion.

But she didn't know how Christin came to know about what was happening here and gave his unexpected visit.

Was he also keeping an eye on her like Zayden?

Was he crazy to that extent just because of his suspicion and curiosity?

”Christin you should better leave now. I really don't want to drag you into this”, Zayden threatened.

”Drag me?”, side of Christin lips curled up, ”Do you think you have the ability to drag me into something?”, his voice was brimming with confidence.

”Christin I think you are not stupid and you see all these men here obey me and they won't hesitate to beat the living daylights out of you if I ask them”

It only made Christin laugh.

”If you think your Carter family has the ability to go against our Blade family then go ahead and ask them to beat me”, he said overtly.

That escalated to family level quickly, Angelize thought.

It was an indirect way of telling him that 'If you dare to hurt me today, my family will take revenge tomorrow'

Zayden jaw clenched.

”Don't tempt me”, he seethed.

”I'm tempting you”, Christin openly said as if talking to a dog and motioned with his fingers, ”Come and bite me”

Angelize couldn't help her lips curling up.

That was really humiliating.

And Zayden couldn't offend the King of the Imperial College.
