22 Talk Show (1/1)
The screams of women are out of proportion with previous shows, all teams are very surprised at this disproportionate interest for this adorable little doll that has just made its entrance. David Letterman can not contain his laugh at seeing this little girl so smiling wearing a pretty white lace dress with cute little knots everywhere. As expected Lara is not at all stressed, she holds her teddy bear in one hand and makes signs to the public and to cameras greeting her mom who looks at her home. Today, her baby-sitter had to have fun, because Lara's hair is full of tiny braids, which must have taken a lot of time. The couch is a bit high for Lara but she takes the momentum and jumps on it to reach it. Once on the couch, she gives a big smile to the audience as if she were very satisfied with herself. His fun action unleashes once again the cries of the audience 90% female.
David Letterman is not habit welcoming children on his set but with this little miss, he knows that the answers will be direct and clear. She is 6 years old but only if one refers to her year of birth and these few minutes promise to be interesting. ”Hello Lara, welcome to The Late Show. Are not you too stressed to go on TV?”
Mom must be at home. She watch watch me certainly but I have to confirm that this show is live. ”Hi David, hello everyone in the TVs. Not at all stressed. I had a lot of fun with the people on the show, huhuhu. David, I have to ask you. The show is well live, is not it? Mom can see me now if I say hello?”
David Letterman laughs again, watching her move in every direction. She does not hold in place and squirms like a maggot. ”Yes your mom can see you if you say hello. Lara, I learned that you had terrorized our teams. I was also told that you had made a joke to our producer. I was told that you had hung a post-it in his back. It is true?”
The laughter of the little girl is contagious. The public laughs at seeing her laughing to tears. ”Yes, pfft, I had post-it cat so I wanted to try it and this big-nosed gentleman inspired me. Pfft. Mom, it's Lara, I love you my mom. I give you 1000 big kisses, 1000 cuddles and 10,000 bear hugs.”
He knew that she would say nonsense but being in front of the camera does not stop her at all. She remains herself, that is to say a little devil. ”I see you brought your teddy bear. Can you tell our audience what name you gave him.”
Monsieur who stinks, it is your quarter of an hour of glory. ”Yes, he accompanies me everywhere. His name is mister who stinks and he's my best friend.”
All the audience is holding their belly. Not only these words sound funny but the little girl is standing on the couch and is holding her teddy bear above her. An image that will turn a lot these next few days has just been born. The presenter himself is struggling to regain his seriousness in front of this posture (victorious.) ”Very cute as a name, why this name rather than another?”
Lara smiles and seems embarrassed for the first time since entering. ”It's a combination of unhappy circumstances,” says Mom. When I was three years old, a teddy bear came into my life on my birthday. But the day of my birthday I had eaten full, full, full of sweets secretly and my stomach was full of noise. In the evening, I was carefully looking for a name for my teddy bear when the door of my room was suddenly opened by mom, but at the same time I farted, huhu. Mom said to me, ”Lara, a little of restrained my angel.” At that moment, without thinking, I said to Mom. ”It's not me, it's the teddy bear.” The teddy bear has become a mister who stinks and lo and behold, mister who stinks had unwittingly become the name of my bear.”
David Letterman lets a good minute pass for the most sensitive to calm down but he waited too long and a little song sounds and Lara dances while the audience applauds his natural performance. ”Lara, it seems you're already in 6th grade? Should not it be difficult to be in Middle School just 6 years old?”
Lara stops dancing. She considers this question for a moment and then shakes her head. ”That's great. My older sisters gives me lots of hugs, my older brothers and I do a lot of nonsense and I can make a collection of words.”
The presenter is of course aware of this prestigious collection which Lara is so proud of and he intends to take advantage of it. ”What is the nature of this collection of Lara words? The audience would like you to explain to him.”
Hihi, bad man. ”David you are mean. I know these words are not good but I like them and I said that I will answer the questions you will ask so I will answer. Whenever I make a foolishness, the teachers put a word in my notebook and I make the collection, that's what my word collection. I want to say that I have plenty of them.”
David Letterman sees an assistant telling him that the time is passing dangerously fast. He must therefore now address the subject that will speak and manage to leave CBS at the center of the news. ”Lara, I learned that you were going to play in a movie produced by the MGM whose CBS is co-producer. Can you tell us a little about it?”
Ha! ”Yes, but I was told to keep the secret on almost everything so I will not say much. In the movie I will be a little girl who in the company of her daddy makes a long trip. The main actor is Mel Gibson. Mom finds it very beautiful but not me. I prefer Johnny Depp as an adult, these movies are more fun. That's all you'll learn and even if you're curious, you'll know nothing more.”
He certainly did not want her to reveal anything because his own TV channel would blame him but the seriousness of this little girl on this subject makes him happy. ”Bravo Lara, you're very professional. We leave each other forty seconds to give a little space to our sponsors, we see each other again right away.”
