14 A Meeting Between the Twins (1/2)

Chapter 14

Not knowing that she was currently being observed from the closed-circuit television by Kyle, Scarlet stared onto the eyes of Kevin while she was momentarily lost in her thoughts as to which option was the better answer.

She did not know how she ended up in this state or why she had to choose between the two bizarre nicknames he gave her. But, she owed him a big favor.

Therefore, she had no choice but to choose between ”Sweetheart” and ”Li.”

Not knowing that the girl was just staring at him unconsciously for the bizarre remark he had given her, Kevin, on the other hand, was so intoxicated by her deep stare that he felt like she was prying open the deepest parts of his soul.

He, too, became lost in her beautiful gaze when he saw his face being reflected upon her lovely eyes.

He felt like he was the only person she would set her sight on amidst a world full of billions of people.

While both of the two lovebirds were lost in each other's gazes for different reasons and while Kevin forgot to treat Scarlet's wounds on her two elbows, Kyle loudly banged the clinic's wooden door open and, when he set his sight on them, the aura around him became extremely dark and menacing, thus unleashing the beast within:

A mighty, godly and murderously high killing intent descending deadly pressure upon those within the proximity of the whole academy.

Right now, Kyle was like a merciless and hostile god of death proudly standing before them, as if he was issuing the most lethal decree in all history!

While the students were peacefully eating their lunch in the canteen, they felt a deadly and poisonous aura descending upon them, as if telling them that their deaths were near.

The atmosphere around them became tense and the happy atmosphere from a while ago immediately shredded into pieces, making even the slightest pin drop be heard from all across the room.

They did not bother to make the slightest movement, for they feared they might die because of the next action they made.

They did not know why they felt this way. What they did know was that the one who had done this was someone absolutely inhumane!

They shivered upon the thought of the mysterious godly strength which that inhuman and dangerous being had unleashed towards them.

Or, to be more precise, towards the whole perimeter of the academy.

Moreover, that dangerous being was the same as them, residing within the school!

This academy was definitely not average, but extraordinary. Too extraordinary.

They mentally cried inside once they realized this fact. They depressingly thought of the many more similar and horrible situations that would take place in the future.

Meanwhile, the three culprits inside the clinic were oblivious to the entire change of atmosphere within the school.

Hearing the loud bang of the door, both of the pitiful victims broke their deep gazes towards each other and looked towards Kyle's direction.

Of course, Scarlet noticed the tremendous dark and deadly aura, filled with a mighty high killing intent, directed towards them. So, she became confused and worried.

Scarlet became anxious and mentally pondered on a lot of questions that were successively coming out within her chaotic mind, ”Was there something I missed? Is he here to pick a fight with me? What is going on?”

She thought back to the time where she had accidentally done something wrong to Kyle, and currently thought of nothing.

However, she seriously continued pondering again while looking deep into Kyle's eyes, as if a hidden answer was laid within it.

While the girl was jumbling up her head for answers, Kevin immediately shifted his gaze towards Kyle and Scarlet, back and forth.

Just as if he had found the most loathsome answer in all of history, Kevin's expression immediately and greatly darkened, making him frown while glaring at Kyle as if he was replying back to his own blood-related brother that he also wanted to strangle him to death.

Even as children, the twins never had a fight between them, because they would gain no benefit from it. Because of private circumstances within their family, they matured from an early age.

However, with Scarlet now being held dearly in both of their hearts, there was no doubt that the next World War 3 might occur.

In all of the years in history, there now occurred two almighty gods of death bringing forth an enormous and deadly pressure within the academy for the very first time, with both of their strengths on par with the other and with both of their influences greatly doubling the pressure of the entire building.

Because of this, a huge fiasco took place in the canteen.

Those in the middle of lining to buy food immediately forgot the reason as to why they were standing there in the first place.

Those who ate their food also forgot that they were currently in the middle of eating, leaving their spoons and forks hanging in the air with their mouths wide open.

Lastly, those in the middle of walking also forgot how to walk for the very first time and stumbled amidst the clear marble floor with absolutely no bumps into it.
