Just three months back, Nuke and Luna defeated the Monkey with much difficulty. But the next beasts they faced are much stronger than before.
In this one year, they found out some important truth about this place; That is, their haki is not improving as much their training. It's like they have to put five times the effort to get a one time benefit.
It's like something in the Island is controlling the flow of haki. Haki is nothing but a type of energy in the one piece world, so if someone disrupts the flow of energy; The absorption and improvement of haki become difficult.
The Only advantage is, their control in haki improved tremendously because due to the low amount of energy they have to control their haki to use it accordingly. Is it an advantage or disadvantage no one knows?

Today is the last day of their adventuring in this Island. Their hope of obtaining some treasures or devil fruit also diminished.
The Beasts in the inner region of the forest uses a weird kind of energy like haki but not haki. It's also because of that, defeating the beasts become difficult.
”Nuke, Look there!” Nuke heard the Luna's surprised cry.
When he looked into the direction Luna pointed, he saw a 20-meter tall tree with the holy like aura enclosing it.
”Devil Fruit”
Nuke saw a weird patterned fruit in one of its branches. his breathing becomes fast, it's a devil fruit who wouldn't be excited.
But he didn't know what kind of devil fruit it is. Whatever that devil fruit is, he has to obtain it. Even though nuke wants to eat a devil fruit, he has the 'Origin star' technique.
So he is not in urgent need of eating a devil fruit. But he can give this fruit to Luna who's always want to increase her strength.
Nearby, luna also looked at the fruit but she doesn't know it's a devil fruit, because she hasn't seen a devil fruit in her entire life.
”Luna, that's the Devil Fruit. But I don't know which category it falls under.” Nuke said to Luna. Then he began to carefully look around the tree to find any beasts in the vicinity.
”Luna, you go and pluck it. I will watch for any beasts.” Luna nodded her head and walked towards the tree.
Just after Luna took three steps from the position, A silver-haired Ape around 15 meters in height mysteriously appeared near them. It looked powerful and scary with a scar on the left side of its face.
”I know it”, Nuke thought.
