Feng An closes his eyes and rub the space of his brows. All his memories in Azkaban is giving him a headache.
”Go. Tell them. Who cares anyway? We don't even know if we can come back to Azkaban if we have no clue about the portal.” He murmured and left the room.
Meimei bit her lips. After a moment, she started parting her lips to talk.
”The three of us...are not from this world. We came from the world where magic existed. However, people there are no different from here. Here, those who can't cultivate cower the strong. It was the same in our world. Those who don't have magic evaded those who have. Strong bully the weak. The strong has more privileges.” She paused.
”My young miss is an heir of the Azkaban Land. The princess of the kingdom. She was doted at first. But when she reach the age of 8, everything changes. She was thrown to train by the eternal training of the Queen. Burn by fire. Pierce by blades. She suffered in the hands of the Queen...and her own people.”
Meimei releases a long breathe. She sobbed.
”She was a tool. The Queen's trump card. A prisoner in her own kingdom. She was just a mere trash in the eyes of the Queen. A mere beast that deserves to be cage.”
Meimei's eyes turns cold. Hate swirling in the depths of her pupils.
”The Evil Queen wanted her to be cold and merciless. A weapon that she can used.”
”My young miss did everything to satisfy her. She live for her. In the end, she was curse by her.”
The servant girl continued to talk as she fish out a crystal ball from her inner robe. Inside the crystal globe was a red rose floating. 5 of the petals had turn silver.
”Living there ruin her. Broke her...”
”This rose...is connected to her life. Every petal that turn silver is a bad sign. A sign that...that...” Meimei trailed of. Her voice lowering. She swallowed her saliva.
”What happens...if the last petals turn silver.” Liu Qing gazed at the rose. There was something fishy about it.
Meimei looked up and stared at Liu Qing. It was so intense that made him stiffen.
”She will die.”
