Chu Lin and Mu Yang stared at her expression. Li Wei had that straight face, however, the two notice that there's bitterness swirling on her eyes.

'Why? Does she think she will die today? Why the bitterness?' Thought Mu Yang and Chu Lin.

Suddenly, Feng An and Meimei burst out from the door. The two have the same expression. Nervousness.

”Young miss...People are coming this way.” The cold expression that Feng An always had cracked. His face paled. His lips slightly quivering and his throat dried.

”Fighting without reason to fight for is not a way to live, Li Wei. It's just a way to die.” Mu Yang unknowingly blurted out. She stops in her track when she realized what she just said.

”Isn't surviving a reason to fight?” Li Wei looked at Mu Yang as she stood up. Her gaze never leaves Li Wei as her eyes flicker from golden to red.

”That's not what I mean. I just don't want you to die.” Mu Yang answered. Mu Yang is afraid that the genuine person she ever knows will die.

”I already thought of you as a friend. I'm afraid...Li Wei I don't want to lose a friend like you.” Mu Yang truthfully answers, her eyes brimmed with tears. For three months she was with her, she knows she wanted to venture the world with her. Li Wei wanted to be stronger, so does she.

Li Wei patted Mu Yang's shoulder.

”Fear of death is what keeps us alive. Relax, I won't be killed easily.”

”You should go. This is my affair, I'll handle this. I don't want you to be implicated.”

”There! That is that girl's house! We always saw her descended this hill whenever she goes to school! I can't believe that she's that White Rose! What a monster!”

Five heads turned to look outside. Li Wei withdraws her hands from Mu Yang's shoulder and takes a step forward to go outside.

”Li Wei! You beast! Get the fuck out of your house!” Nalan Hechan shouted outside. His only daughter is dead and his only son doesn't want to help him take revenge. He was extremely angered that his son is a coward. How can he dote on such a coward child?
