Li Wei roamed her eyes around. She picked up the crystal light core that was lying beside her.
Casting her gaze around, she find a stone bed that wasn't far from her. Above that stone bed was a book emanating a faint yellow glow.
Li Wei looked around cautiously looking if there are other presence and any other traps that can ultimately kill her anytime.
When she read the titled in the book she sucked in a long breathe. What's written in the book was a golden bold characters that says, ”Immortal Cultivation”
”Wow, immortals exists in this world?” She asked. Although she expected that no one will answer. However, she suddenly heard a faint voice.
”You can only count them with two hands.”
Li Wei immediately put a defensive stance before speaking.”Who are you?” She asked.She doesn't feel any presence earlier, how come there is someone here.Why didn't she notice it.
”No need to be so cautious.” A faint ghost figure appeared in front of Li Wei that cause her heart to jump after seeing the appearance of another person.He was an old man who's already 600 years old but still looked like in his 50's.
If he's an immortal why did he become a ghost? How did he die?
As if reading her thoughts, the ghost man laughed.
”I suffered with a terrible disease.Although I am powerful and an immortal being at that, a natural phenomenal cannot be avoided.It is my fate to die.I also have many enemies.Experts that I had provoke.Naturally, they will haunt to kill me.”
”I am the owner of that book. Spending my last days to write everything I know about immortal cultivation.” The man's eyes grew distance as if remembering his past memories.
”What about the doctors? Alchemist?”

”Finally, I can lend someone all my knowledge.” The old man looked at Li Wei with a gentle gaze.
”My time is already up, don't show this book to anyone.” His voice grew fainter.
”Venerable master, please accept this disciple's kowtow.” Li Wei respectfully said and kowtowed to the faint figure in front of him.
