19 Provocation (1/2)

Xyn came out of the gate then the guardians came out next.

He looked at the guardians.

”Let's move closer to them.”

The guardians replied in affirmative.

Xyn set the destination of the gate a few distances from the town. That's because he doesn't want the opposition know they can use a teleportation gate. Also, because he thought walking to the town, and slowly shows themselves will make one hell of an entrance, which would make him and the guardians intimidating, especially when the people see there are only seven of them and they just easily wrecked their entire army and defenses.

When they finally got nearer the town, and they are close just enough for the human eyes to see them, Xyn saw the soldiers on the defenses began to tidy and tighten up, the humans have finally seen their presence.

Then they all stopped walking.

Xyn looked at his right. There he saw Sagremor, Agiel, and Xelya on his side.

Then he looked at his left. There he saw Criswell, Adrasteia and Brutus on his side.

Xyn smiled behind the mask.

He then peered onto the defenses of the opposition.

I first thought my minions would be taken out in the distance just because the enemy uses modern technology, but they were a disappointment, they had a hard time against my minions. I wonder what would happen if one of my guardians go all out on these guys, but I'm not here for just one person to have all the fun. Now then, how do I begin?

He thought for a few seconds then when he finally got an idea on how to start, he spread his arms.

”Greetings humans, we have come to finish what we started.”

Xyn looked to the humans to see if he have their attention then he continued.

”I know you won against my army, for that, I must congratulate you. And also, thank you for giving your all in the prior battle.”

After he said that, he thought.

Now that I've said that, they're probably confused why I thank them, hehehe.

Xyn chuckled inside his mind and continued.

”That was a good test run. It made a pretty good result for me.”

Xyn thought that the soldiers may be thinking that he is being in denial or just making excuses in his loss, but Xyn just giggled inside his mind. He does not need to make a big deal out of it.

He then continued.

”Now then, let us be done with the small talks. We will attack you once again, and this time it will only be the seven of us.”

Xyn doesn't want to wait any longer, he wants to get straight to the action. Also, he's running out of words to say anyway, he doesn't want to look like an idiot that can't talk properly in the middle of everything.

They're probably saying like 'Oh, no way they could fight against us!' or 'He's kidding' or 'He must be stupid!' for some reason it felt hilarious just thinking about it.

Xyn thought as he smiled behind the mask and he continued.

”However, I will give you a handicap. I will give you a chance to attack us with everything you have and we will stand here straight and still.”

He said that because he wanted to at least give them a chance to attack him and the guardians. Of course, that was because he has something to test, and also because he wants to see their reactions if it all ended well.

They might be confused now, but that's expected.

Xyn thought as he closely looked unto the people in front of him.

”Now, Let us begin. Attack us with everything at your disposals, humans!”

Xyn was excited and spread his arms as he said that.

He expects them to shoot with everything they got.
