45 Fighting Generation of Miracles 8 (1/1)

It's Hyuga against Midorima again, and Midorima went for the shot, Hyuga tries to block, but then realized the former faked him. Going past Hyuga, Midorime tried to shoot again, but Akashi shouted at him to pass,

”Midorima, pass”

Kagami jumped in front of Midorima. If Midorima shot, the ball would be blocked. Midorima had fallen under the trap of Kagami.

Midorima felt annoyed that he would get blocked, so he passed to Murasakibara, but the ball got stolen away thanks to Kuroko's Emperor Eye.

Now Seirin counterattack and Seirin were still under the Direct Drive Zone from Kagami. The ball ended up with Hyuga, going for the three, but missed

Although the basket missed, the advantage still went to Seirin, as the team attack with the help of Direct Drive Zone would be way faster than the reaction of Akashi's Emperor Eye.

All Seirin has to do was to stop the next attack from Generation of Miracle and Seirin could get 2 points.

Kagami managed to score baskets with five consecutive Meteor Jams. Now the match was changed to an all-out attack for both of the teams.

Seirin planned to let Kagami focus only on the offense, leaving the defense to the rest of his teammates. As the match resumed, Kagami passed Aonime and Kise who was guarding him and advanced to the basket, where Midorima and Murasakibara were guarding. However, Kagami uses a fake evading them, scoring the basket.

Now the score was 80-75, Seirin.

With 48 seconds left for the third quarter,

Akashi noticed that Seirin was synchronizing their plays to match Kagami's and wonders how they are able to do that.

Akashi now felt extremely annoyed, thinking that no matter how hard he played now, he could not get better at this stage. What's more, he had entered deep into the Zone and was now at the second door, but somehow he just could not open it.

He thought that in order to beat Kagami and Kuroko, that door has to be opened, but even if Akashi did not put his hope onto opening the second door, he had to force the ”Gate-keeper” to make way for him, meaning that just waiting would not let the ”Gate-keeper” make way.

”Who are you?” Akashi said. But the gatekeeper was not responded.

Akashi was determined to open the 2nd door of the Zone. The familiar faces in the crowd note Akashi's intentions but question if he could really enter it, as it was Generation of Miracles' chance to come back

Akashi laughed in a realization that there was no 'gatekeeper' before the 2nd door, but actually his another character who was standing there. Behind him, there was another Generation of Miracles.

Akashi finally entered Zone's 2nd door from which all of his teammates emerge from.

Akashi and Generation of Miracles continue their coordination play along with the rest of the team, which was the Direct Drive Zone.

This quarter ended with score 85-95. When Kagami walked to the bench for resting, he fell down on the bench due to his stamina being drained. Kagami met his limit.
